Oh man you did that fingering thing at the chorus 1:34 🙃 i always feel that's what gives it the "swingy" groove and other folks here in YT don't do it. Looks kinda tricky to do without interrupting the rhythm, thanks for showing it man!
1:34 This sounds so much better when the secondary guitar is more prominent (which on the album is so quiet you can hardly even hear it). Guitar hero's remix has that secondary guitar as the lead guitar in those fills and it sounds so much better. What Oasis would have done a better job sound mixing (and just overall production quality).
Great point. Infact in a recent interview Noel has said he hates the overall sound of WTSMG. They were still heavy on the distortion. Be great if he went back in and remastered it giving all the instrumentation more balance and prominence.
Search "guitar hero some might say" and go listen to that version of the song. I think you'll like it better than the album version. It mixes the guitars differently and it sounds a lot better
