Unfortunate that Yaura hasn't been able to show his talent as much in these big NA majors (Ceo wasn't a major & he didn't get notable wins). In his last 3 Japanese majors, including the massive Umebura and Kowloon × seibugeki he made top 8, but it feels as though he's still finding his footing abroad. Yaura will show out in NA soon
Even if Japan is better overall, NA is a lot better at the Samus matchup. Even Europe is good at the matchup, I won't be surprised if Yaura didn't make top 8 in Europe. But yeah, let's hope for a Yaura top 8.
Shadic played so well this set even though it was one of corrin worst mu’s especially in that last game against yaura samus in general especially you need to always play patient and not get tricked by his very good ledge trapping.
LOL people were saying Samus would be too big of a problem for Corrin but Shadic beat the BEST Samus on the planet. Sorry Corrin doubters but y'all are wrong to the core.
@@EmptyHand49I can see that it is difficult to execute hype gameplay with Samus. Sakurai could have at least came up with a decently eye pleasing moveset for Samus, but instead had to go with the generic bland zoner moveset. If anybody is close to hype with Samus, it would be IcyMist. She is not as good as Sisqui and yaura but she plays a sophisticated aggro close combat style with less zoning and camping.
The adjustment of playing more grounded and capitalizing off of safer scramble moves makes this MU even or slightly winning for Corrin and would you look at that: Shadic completely smoked Yaura when he did just that. They both seem to operate best in the mid range but Corrin has pin out of shield which is safer than Samus up B and it's also a mix up. The only move Corrin struggles to punish is zair which is why you see Yaura use it more in the last game but it was too late. This is just my opinion, I can see how Corrin loses this mu on paper but Samus beats like 95% of the cast on paper imo😂.
@@dripfoe_3307 Yaura is well known to be a player with amazing adaptation. Especially since he beat 2 of Japan best Corrin Neo and LY in game 5. But it seems SHADIC shows it to Yaura that he is an even better adapter. I've heard a lot of top players and commentators said SHADIC is the future Top 10. I think SHADIC is the top 10!!!!
Samus can disrupt timing a little with down b when trying to get back to neutral from the air, but she will always have a tough time against characters especially swordies who know how to juggle. This MU can actually be quite rough for her.

It was close until it wasn't.
Outstanding performance from both players. I don't normally watch Samus matches, but his movement is amazing

Game 4 shadic🔥
The double 3-stock?
Yahura is too technical for his own good, must be difficult to keep consistent. It will be great to see him compete more in the future.

Shadic is playing very well, he has beaten Yaura, Jakal, Maister and Glutony, which in my opinion is his best victory
The matchup still blows but shadic is just him

What a banger set, sad Yaura is already out. His Samus is so hype🔥

Someone tell yaura its okay to fully charge samus charge shot
Why
It takes away movement / fake out options. Plus fully charged charge shot has worse frame data.
