      Shame that he's pretty much completely washed up now and has made more bad than good movies at this point.

    Frankly I think his praise for HD was a bit cocky but 4K or 8K is more of a fair fight.

      yeah from what i understand 4k is roughly comparable to 35mm in terms of visual information

      @John-e4p1x Where did you get that figure from?
      From my understanding most Film Schools are shooting Digital, because of costs, students Cannot afford the Rawstock and Lab Developing costs of Film
      But , most Major Studios STILL shoot on FIlm. Some sequences may be shot on Digital, including SpeFx sequences, but otherwise, you can look at a movie and immediately tell if it's shot on Film or shot on Video.
      Video STILL has that "hard" look and you can use all the CineLook etc Post Prod apps out there, but your Movie shot on Video will, unless it's shot at Night, probably still have that "hard" video "look" to it.
