- The Special Sesquicentenary Council Meeting held on Wednesday 24 July 2024, commemorated the 150th anniversary of Burwood Council’s inaugural meeting held on 24 July 1874.
To honour this historic occasion, Burwood Library and Community Hub transformed into a vibrant ceremonial space, adding a touch of grandeur and celebration to our usual Council Meeting.
