In some videos of Stalin speeches whenever the crowd starts clapping, it looks like Stalin is annoyed, why would he force everyone to clap if it annoys him? My opinion is that they just really liked Stalin, my guess is for industrializing the country and beating the fascists later on.

    • @TheEagleRedFist
      @TheEagleRedFist 2 года назад +9

      @@cringlator, you are seriously lying with "socialist revolution is a war against ethnic minorities and successful farmers according to Stalin".
      First of all, Stalin never said that. Probably you are talking who burned the grain in Ukraine, the kulaks. There is a document signed by Stalin which he talks to give grain immediately to stop the famine provoked by kulaks. By the way, when Nazis invaded Ukraine, the farms started to be unproductive because they returned again the landlords, they had to go back to the collective farms to grow up again the economy of Ukraine. Are you sure about that those farmers, the kulaks, were "successful"? History says otherwise...
      Secondly, the Soviet Union protected minorities like Jewish. The USSR was a country with many minorities... you can search it, and you'll find it, and no, these minorities were not oppressed, they were released from the Tzar government politics.
      The argument of the minorities in the USSR was one of the arguments employed by the Nazi Germany to try to erase the USSR of the map...
      You are employing the Nazi narrative against the USSR, Russia was invaded by 11 countries to stop communism during the civil war. As I said, the Bolsheviks should have responded peacefully? Absolutely, NOT.
      I gave you the reasons that Bolsheviks had to go against the enemies of the people, maybe you don't like them but all of them are historical facts that can be contrasted.

      +Revolutionary Socialist Media "the 'International' ceased to be the official Soviet anthem, and reverted to its original role of a Party and working-class hymn. It did not reflect 'the basic changes that have taken place in our country as a result of the success of the Soviet system, and does not express the Socialist nature of the Soviet State', explained the edict. Indeed, it was no longer to slumbering 'starvelings', or to 'criminals of want', that an appeal was needed: 'reason in revolt' had thundered loudly from 1917 to 1921, and its victory had built up a state of society which masses, 'servile' in the olden days, now knew they were defending as their own." (Andrew Rothstein, A History of the U.S.S.R., 1951, p. 332.)

      +Zubeidat Mamiri It's especially silly because it was a SOVIET anthem, not a Russian anthem. To quote Stalin in 1944: "The strength of Soviet patriotism lies in the fact that it is based not on racial or nationalistic prejudices, but on the peoples’ profound loyalty and devotion to their Soviet Motherland, on the fraternal partnership of the working people of all the nationalities in our country. Soviet patriotism harmoniously combines the national traditions of the peoples and the common vital interests of all the working people of the Soviet Union. Far from dividing them, Soviet patriotism welds all the nations and peoples of our country into a single fraternal family. This should be regarded as the basis of the inviolable friendship of the peoples of the Soviet Union which is growing ever stronger. At the same time the peoples of the U.S.S.R. respect the rights and independence of the peoples of foreign countries and have always shown themselves willing to live in peace and friendship with neighbouring states. This should be regarded as the basis of the contacts growing and gaining strength between our State and the freedom-loving peoples. The reason Soviet men and women hate the German invaders is not because they are people of different nationality, but because they have brought immeasurable calamity and suffering on our people and on all freedom-loving peoples. It is an old saying of our people: 'The wolf is not beaten because he is grey, but because he ate the sheep.'"

      There was a coincidence when Stalin was shouting very rude at Lenins wive on the telephone when talking about a political thing. This made Lenin obviously believe that Stalin is kind of a mad man because he could not hold his temper on such a minor occasion. Lenins disapproval of Stalin was more of a private/personal thing, not political.
