Panic attacks are awful. The first time I had one, I thought I was having a heart attack. I hope it gets easier for you. Getting out in the fresh air with your lovely fur baby is definitely one of the best things you can do. It will pass.................. xx
The Ramblings Of Bry You are lucky to have such a good following. From watching similar RUclipsrs I would say it's a great relief to share. Ever hear of Tim Rudisill? A very bitter man full of bottled up white knuckle rage. After a regular slot on another guys channel he over a two year period got out all the crap plugging up his head. He just wanted to be heard. By the third year he was visibly a much calmer person as if he had undergone an exorcism. Died last year from complications of an earlier stroke but when he went, he went unburdened🍷
Maybe if you have another attack you could find an object, anything, look at it touch it concentrate on IT, repeat what the object is out loud again and again till the feeling passes...
I echo all of the wonderful messages of support already written. You've certainly gathered your tribe, Bry. Thank you for sharing your experiences, my darling. Much love xxx
My first panic attack was horrible, I thought I was having a heart attack! But once I new what was happening they arent to bad now. Look after yourself Bry, and keep up making great content.
Morning Bry, panic attacks are horrid; thank you for posting this to help others. Time is the healer - I agree. You’ll find a strategy to cope with future episodes for the new drug regime. And yes, you are right about what the nurse said. Love you mate.x🌸
I thought I was correct in what the nurse said, she might have made a mistake, or they might just want to keep a close eye on me, either way....they are looking out for me!! Cheers mate, take it easy....
Hello Bry,Hope you are feeling more rested by the time you read this. Yes I think everybody experience these things in their own way.Seems like you are finding your own ways to manage what occurs. I find the beta blockers effect me in a way like the engine management light in a car slows the car down!!!! All I can say is sending you loads of love and once again thank you for sharing you experience.I feel your sharing will help others ,in a similar situation ,feel less alone
Your experience is very similar to something I too experienced, many years ago. It was horrific and I am incredibly grateful and lucky that it was just once! I hope yours passes, as mine did, Dave. The lesson I learned from mine was to slow down and take my mental health just as seriously as my physical health. Much love xxx
The trouble with panic attacks is that you go into sensory overload and the brain cannot deal with anything else so your thought processes are totally scrambled. I know it’s a devastating position to be in even though you can now recognise what is happening to you. It is very difficult to find a coping strategy to help you, I think that you should make an action plan that you can write down and keep handy in case of further attacks. List things like your favourite music, passages and poems from books that have significant meaning to you, the online help points that you can turn to, maybe a program to watch that will distract you from what is going on, I find that a really good comedy helps me. I have always said that talking to someone is always better than bottling it all up, I’m glad we spoke yesterday, you know that I’m always at the end of the phone for you. Take good care of yourself mate, xx
Cheers mate, I find that all I can do is actually survive, I am not sure if I could put a cd in etc, my panic attacks are also so physical, but we live and learn... thankyou. Take it easy x
Real sorry. I am worried, too, always. Getting chubbier from pasta and wine. That's not good actually no matter how innocent. I am so glad you don't smoke anymore. What a relief of the measured approach to testing you. I realize each year I go for a mammogram and an ultrasound, on the way going I realize my "life" could be very different again shortly depending on the results. It takes practice to be calm about what we can not control.
Well said Gina, cutting things out is so hard. We should be allowed to treat ourselves, we just have to be a little careful... best of luck with everything xxx
Sorry to hear about the panic attack Bry, those things are awful and hard to treat since they're a really personal experience, so there's no way to combat them that works for everyone. At least you've developed your own way to handle them, which at least softens the blow, though I hope you don't have to use that expertise ever again. Much blessings and love to you man, hope you have a great weekend!
I get bad anxiety and depression at times....Just gotta roll with it cause even this to shall pass...Just knowing that helps me get through...Hope it helps you!
It might be worth while to look into what it is you fear leaving behind or unaccomplished, why you are clinging to the physical ego so strongly and what is so unfulfilled that the fear of death consumes you. I only ask as I'll sometimes have these same feelings but i'm growing more and more to believe that it is more a fear of missed opportunities. I find that many people who get a death scare also strive to do things differently, if only they can make it through whatever is ailing them. I also find that not a large percentage take real advantage of a second chance that they promised themself. Thankfully some do, or there experience was so tramatic, that they actually followed through with the "if I get through this, I promise too" mumbo jumbo we all tend to do. If we can master life and fulfill our destiny on a daily basis, then death becomes the next big adventure and not something to dread. If we can somehow master ourselves to be in a place where death is not a threat, then we will not be afraid of dying. We will all have that day and its what we do every single day before that day which matters. I personally hate that people have to die. I don't mind having to leave, but I think the process of dying is the issue. One thing I have told myself however is that this day WILL come, but why suffer over and over about it, dreading it, dwell on it as if its happening right now, or having a huge panic over it. Why suffer this process over and over, when its only suppose to (hopefully) happen once. Live free, free your mind of these thoughts, leave them behind on the trail like you did before. It really is soul poison. We are here to enjoy and experience the now and not the future. Live in the now and enjoy doing it. Throw things out of your life that you are not using and concentrate on those things that you actually use. See more, do more, talk more, experience more, eat more, laugh more, smile more, adventure more, soak it up like its going out of style every single day within your means. You can't bring any of it with you but your experiences. Those experiences need to be positive ones to remember on your death bed and not a life full of suffering. You have a screenplay to write that you will play in your head on that final day and it better be an adventure/comedy and not a horror film. You will need it later and if you do it right, you will have no regrets.
Hi Chris, sorry mate, you have read things completely wrong, I have never had a fear of death, but also feel I have a life in front of me. Sometimes the panic attacks come out of the blue, sometimes when my mind is in overload...
@@TheRamblingsofBry Yea that must be quite scary. I've had a few but mostly just food reactive ones, and yes not fun at all. I usually will jump in a nice hot shower, it helps for my type of attacks. I would hate to have any worse or sudden ones without any particular cause or warning. Sorry to have read that wrong, perhaps I was projecting.
I work in palliative care, Chris, and I see and hear the fear of death in many people, most come to an acceptance and peace by the time their life ends (thank goodness). Your words might not apply in Bry's case but I'm sure that it will resonate with others that may be struggling with the thoughts you have so eloquently described. Much love xxx
Well Bry, I don't have panic attacks but I get the same symptoms as you. I can be standing in the kitchen preparing the dinner when from nowhere I start to boil up and break into a sweat, I have to take off my tee shirt and go outside to try and cool off. After a couple of minutes I start to feel like I am shaking or having tremors or but as far as I can tell I can't see it - only feel it. Then I get tired and have to lay down till it passes which can take 1/2 to 1 hour or so. I kind of doze off until I feel like I can get up and carry on where I left off. I don't recall this happening until after I had the second c jab so naturally I am blaming that for it and for another thing that happened which required an ambulance to be called, (this was dealt with by the paramedic).
Bless you Chris, have you had your heart checked recently mate? Just to be sure it isn't something serious, but it does sound kind of anxiety related...perhaps?
@@TheRamblingsofBry Yes, that was done by the ambulance medic, I have the print out. Nothing was abnormal. I am not aware of having any anxiety issues.
That's awful you going through these attacks. It's crazy to think it's all in the mind and imagination and the mind can conjure up these very real feelings and reactions. I guess we all walk about in these meat suits that have to be serviced now and again, let the doctors service them, you've been around longer than the vessel your in right now.
