    Thank you for making a video about this. Learning to do the small unflashy things like this correctly all of the time makes a big difference no matter what else we are trying to do. A video on footwork basics would be great as well. I appreciate all of your hard work.

    These nuances are powerful tools. There is a reason the Japanese are masters of kumi-kata. Simple details---a small pebble with long ripples.

    The way to show the basic grip technique and in general the basics of how to approach gripping was very clear and simple. Building up once these basics are in the backbone seems great. Great for beginners when it doesn't go too much in the details when it says basics. Like I was thinking of this idea I saw somewhere that you let the opponent try to grab your lapel and dodge with turning the shoulders, then grabbing the sleeve as they start retracting the arm, but realised that it's nowhere near the scope of this video. Thanks again for these videos.

      If your asking about the uchi komi on the tree? 1000 reps of Osotogari
      Have you done a video on tsuri komi goshi?
      I can see a video on sode tsuri komi goshi but not tsuri komi goshi. I really struggle with this due to shoulder mobility

      how was it?

    • @Barabass
      @Barabass Год назад +1

      i think your videos are great and i trust all your content a lot.
      i remember from one of your videos to use the last three fingers of the hand and was convinced right away and introduced it immediately - so in this terms this has been known to me already.
      i think the best part was the tsurite part and the tips about the wrist. i will try it out tomorrow in my training.
      regarding hikite i'm not convinced that in a match you will be able to make wrinkles, because it takes time - u think you can show it in randori?
      regaring some future content ideas:
      one thing which i have trouble with is to break the opponents tsurite grip. if it is strong, it dominates and sets up the whole fight - i can feel immediately that my chance of winning is very low in that situation.

      Grip is more important than position.
