GRAITEC Advance Design: Welded tube truss connection

Possibility for defining for the welded tubular truss connections additional plates needed to reinforce the contact area between the chord and the brace members. These plates can be two types: horizontal and lateral. With the 2025 release of the Advance Design Steel Connection module, for welded tubular connections, it is now possible to add reinforcing side plates or flange plates. For rectangular hollow chord sections, these reinforcement plates help in resisting chord face failure, brace failure, chord side wall buckling and chord shear.
