Raychem FOSC 450 Fiber Optic Gel Closure Installation Instruction
The FOSC family of fiber optic splice closures is available with gel sealing technology for cable terminations. This product line, known as the FOSC 450 closure family, can be used in any environment (aerial, pedestal, buried, and underground) and for numerous splice applications (expressed, tap-off, branch and repair).
FOSC 450 gel splice closures feature splice capacity similar to that of FOSC 400 closures, and offer the same reliable and easy-to-use dome-to-base clamping system. The major difference
with FOSC 450 gel splice closures is that the cable sealing terminations use gel-sealing technology instead of heat-shrink. Gel sealed cable terminations automatically adjust to cable size and
shape, and they require no special tools, tapes or mastics to install. It is also easy to remove cables, and gel seals are completely re-usable.

Very detailed video, thanks for sharing!
I saw these in our road where At&t is installing fiber..
So what do you do when you have multiple high count ribbon fibers coming into the closure and you need to use the top holes? Those buffers are not designed to bend at a 90 degree angle, which is what your forced to do when attempting to feed into the distro basket below the trays. Is there a tutorial video for this scenario?
Good enclosure. I cant get good technical support in assembling a cross connect closure.
Thanks for the video.
very good experience from this video thanks very much
How do to download this video ?
no clue how i found this
Good

Good one vedio
I could not hate this closure more! WAY too many little parts. And this video is not a realistic scenario in the real world. The ONLY benefit the 450 has over a 400 is you need electricity to shrink the port seal on a 400. And before I fiddle with all the mechanisms and steps on a 450, I’ll run extension cords 3 friggin’ blocks! Love the 400, hate hate hate the 450.
