Hi Dr. I had tooth 9,10 knocked out 10 years ago and the teeth are coming out soon due to bone loss. My Dentist recommended (I advised I wanted veneers on teeth 6-11) a veneer bridge while I’m healing from the grafting over a flipper since I wanted veneers anyways. It’s a long shot but would love your brief thoughts. Thank you kindly.
Great video! I use Kuraray Cerabien FC Paste and have been pretty happy with it. From what I understand it should be pretty similar to Miyo. Have you tried the Kuraray product and would you say Miyo is significantly superior? Would be great to know if its worth it making the switch.
They are both excellent. I use MiYO because the liquid glaze is very enamel-like, and the colors are more translucent, so it looks the best in my hands on more opaque surfaces.
Hello dr klim I dont know where to post the comment so yoi can answer for every dentists in here. If we buy a used cerec from other dentists then what do we have to do? Paying for license to use the cerec? Or only pay if we want to upgrade the software? Anything else we need to know before buying used….. thanks doc
Does the current license come with the system? Find out the current software version, is it 5.0 and on? Service of the equipment is important. Does the existing user have a contract with Patterson and Schein? Patterson's service contract is worth it for maintenance.
Do you offer classes that teach how to use Miyo? I’m a dental lab technician who has experimented with Miyo in the past, but our team had a tough time with it, even with the help of Miyo representatives.
What was the most challenging part? Colors, Structure, or glaze? When I use MiYO, I place the texture in the surface of the material and do not rely on the Structure for final surface finishing. However, I will use the structure for line angles, etc. I prefer to allow the subsurface texturing to influence the glaze and Structure.
@@KlimDDS the glaze was the most challenging part. If it was too thick, it wouldn’t lay down smooth during the application. But if the glaze was thin enough for a smooth application, it would come out of the furnace thin and blotchy.
Love teaching MiYO at my hands-on courses in Santa Rosa, CA. Check out the current schedule here www.cadstar.org/
Miyo is the secret sauce. You convinced me to get the Miyo kits and it’s so easy to use
