I would had moor to the legs get it higher off the ground I know make little hard to put corn in but save the feeder from racoons and other stuff I put kids slinks on legs so if try climbing up it just lowers them down
Man, I have had this feeder running for 6 years now. There is some damage to the top from squirrels chewing on it, but for a $130 feeder to last 6 years at this height which is super convenient for the corn, I think I can live with it ;) Never had a feeder last this long before. This still has the original motor on it too.
Im lookin to buy my first feeder and 4 years strong is well good enough to get my money's worth. Thanks for the review!
Marshall. Thanks for the comments. And it is still spinning every day...

Glad I could help!
I got the cheap one but you can hook up 6volt runs on double aa’s
Oh I gotcha.. Didn't know that. My 6 volt will run the feeder for a good 8 months.
What about hogs looks like you don't have a hog problem cause hogs will be all over that feeder?
Yea i don't have hogs where I live but yea hogs would cause problems with this light weight feeder for sure. This would be a deer only feeder IMO.

What kind of batteries are you running?
Just regular duracell 6 volt batteries.
Put a fake owl on the top of your feeder that will help with the squirrels
