Love Kingston, my whole family used to work for Kingston (council and NHS). My daughter went to Tiffin Girls school, and now she is working for the NHS in Kingston. It is a very expensive place to live, hence we live in the neighbouring borough. Did you know Kingston ranks second for the most expensive council tax in UK, after Blaenau Gwent in Wales, and Kingston has the most expensive council tax in London too. Therefore, living there would be quite expensive.

Kingston is a good location. However since my workplace is in Canary Wharf, it would be too far to travel in and out everyday. I would prefer East London.
Surbiton is a quieter than Kingston and has a smaller shopping area. Surbiton Train Station is on a different train line to Kingston and has much more frequent and faster train journeys into central London (to Waterloo Station). The same train line heads South to Portsmouth on the South Coast. This makes it a very popular surburban commuter area. Both towns are joined together so the walk between them is quick and you will hardly notice when you have passed from Kingston to Surbiton.
Kingston is really a good place to live, especially for those newly moved to UK 🤗enjoy!!
