There was a period where they were showing Kai on Cartoon Network in normal hours in the U.S. I know because that was how I found Dragon Ball.
I think the ending song was a snippet of this song. All I could ever remember was it seemed uplifting, and the one bit that stood out was a line about Kamehameha, which followed the pattern of this one. I couldn't even remember any of the words correctly but the fact Kamehameha was in one bit, but now, I think this was it.
For me, the good days when it was on Nicktoons and CW4Kids. That's when I started watching Dragon Ball.

Legit: This song really help me feel more 'at ease' and motivated to just do things in general. Most DB Openings and endings give me that feeling, and this cover literally multiples those feelings by like 100% cuz I can understand the lyrics (never been a huge fans of sub only songs, but I've gotten used to it.) and the beat with the english lyrics helps so much.
I have hope 2020 will be a grand year listening to this at the start of it.

Been going through a rough patch this whole year I felt like nothing i do is right and was losing faith in myself. but listening to this song brought back so many memories that filled me with positive vibes and reminded me of some of the things my friends have said to keep me going.

I’ve loved this song ever since I was 8 watching DBZ Kai on Nicktoons. I just turned 17, started watching Kai again, and I still love it and this series. (Although I am starting to get sick of Dragon Soul 😅)

I love this. It may not be the original English dub lyrics but hearing this reminds me of my days in elementary school. Waking up every morning and watching a bit of the dbz kai re-runs before I go to school and hearing this song at the end. Beautiful song and this was a good cover for it

Easily one of the best dbz or anime endings ever no competition. This is so nostalgic and I watched dbz kai and watched since 2013 and I loved the series so much I’ve bought the whole series on dvd. This song brought it all back and as dbz as my first and favorite anime, this makes me love it more

It always bothers me when there are official English lyrics for these songs and they get ignored. That said, you sound really good in this!
I did do a couple of nods to the original, but there weren't official lyrics for the WHOLE song and I wanted to make something that was entirely connected. If I was doing just the TV size version, I might have just done the official English lyrics.
