It took him years to finally accept himself for who he really is and I am so happy that he himself knows how amazing he is. From debut until around 2-3 years ago, he was always insecure about his singing and his looks. He pushed himself so hard that he would pass out from over working and would constantly have muscle pain. He also went on a strict unhealthy diet to lose fast weight. Members would always say that Jimin is the most hard working member. He would stay longer to practice more by himself so that he can perfect every moves and perfect his singing. He always thought his singing lacked a lot. He would cry over little unnoticed mistakes in his performances even though in ARMY’s eyes, he killed them all. Moving forward today, he learned that it’s okay not to be perfect. He learned to find happiness in small things and that it’s okay to let loose sometimes. He started really learning to live in and enjoy every moments. He especially stopped picking on himself. He learned to love every little thing about himself, even his small pinky and height. He started laughing over little mistakes that he made on stage and not beat himself over it. He started changing the way he would view things. He would fill negative situations with positive thoughts. I am sooo happy Jimin finally accepted himself and realized how truly amazing he really is. Isn’t it funny how someone as perfect as Park Jimin struggled with self love? Like if he was able to see himself through ARMY’s eyes from the start, he would realized sooner what an absolute perfect angel he himself is. Let Park Jimin’s struggles with self love be a reminder to everyone that you are perfect just the way you are. It’s the constant battles you are having with yourself that tell you otherwise. If you change your perspective on how you view the negative things into positive thoughts, you will learn how to truly live happily in the moments. You will see that life isn’t as bad as you thought. @x x I think because Park Jimin's struggles is very relatable with what I went through, I am able to relate and understand him more. Being a perfectionist is exhausting. We seriously don't give ourselves enough credits... I totally agree. The Kpop industry is brutal... I feel like his confidence definitely dropped moving to Seoul especially since no other companies wanted him and that affected his mindset negatively in a way. He had to constantly compare himself to other trainees/idols which I'm sure played a huge role in his confidence which caused him to always think that he wasn't good enough. I'm just so happy he finally accepted himself and is using himself as an example for others to see. I think that is also why BTS is so loved around the world. They aren't afraid to be themselves, to tell others what they are struggling with, to speak their mind... like they are millionaires ... singers.... dancers.. yet we are all able to relate to them somehow cause they choose to not change and remain humble even with money and fame in the picture.

This was an extremely inspiring video, I had always been fascinated by jimin specifically since he had gone through many hardships in his life that i can relate to with my own life . I have been a fan of BTS for a long time since there debut and I love each and every member but jimin really stood out to me. His motivation to work hard and his portrayal of deep emotions he feels through his dance and angelic singing really enlightened me. I’m actually currently writing a speech on the topic of friendship for my English exam which I will have to perform in front of my whole class. I was a bit unsure and doubted my ability on portraying my emotions through words for this topic to my audience, but after watching a couple of videos on jimin’s journey to where he is at now is really inspirational to me. I was never a high achiever and always settles for the bare minimum but after watching this video I feel more confident to expect more from myself and work harder. As jimin has said “ no matter how hard it is right now, think of what the results will make you feel” I want to live by this quote and be an inspiration to others as jimin has done for me and many other army’s out there!!!!!!

My eyes watered at this, I hate to see jimin sad.i look up to jimin for alot actually, he's such a respectful and kind man, his soul is so gentle. He means alot to me even though I don't know him in person. I understand, speaking from experience how hard it can be suffering with self doubt, all thoughts running through your head like a marathon. It's hard. Even harder, because he is an idol, and there's certain expectations that I wish was never piled onto him and his members. There's a undescribable beauty in jimin's and the other members lyrics and singing. It hits you so hard sometimes you get emotional, that's what makes bts's songs special. They are unique, just like every member, especially jimin 💜. I also wanted to mention how beautifully this video was put together to show all the emotions of jimin and how he's growing stronger.💜. For anybody suffering with self doubt, or any other mental issue, stay safe and take care of yourself. Try your best and like jimin said, ' never give up on a dream you've had most your life'.

I've seen a lot of videos about bts life characters past and lots of more cause I want to know each member I want to know each of their stories but honestly only jimins story made me cry all of the things he has gone through the way he lives , the way he treats him self ,the extra work out ,the dangerous amount of food , and his crazy diet, he thinks he is not as good as the others ,was never happy about his image and performance but now he knows I'm so happy about him and he should have never gone through that at the past and we shouldn't let him go through that again 💜

It's so often true that those who are the most accepting of others are that way because they had to fight hard to accept themselves. Trying so hard not to burst into tears... Jimin reflects so much of my ongoing struggle. As a recovering perfectionist, I know just how hard it is to let little mistakes go. It's painful. It's so hard. And I struggle with it every day. But Jimin and the rest of BTS are helping me get there, slowly.

When I saw this documentary I wanted to turn back time, when he was hurt and miserable - because I wanted to hug him so tightly and tell him how perfect he was. He was there for you and me but we couldn’t be there for him for a long long time. I think if there is anyone who’s changed my life and actually been a good friend it’s jimin. He had to constantly compare himself to other trainees/idols which I'm sure played a huge role in his confidence which caused him to always think that he wasn't good enough. I'm just so happy he finally accepted himself and is using himself as an example for others to see. I think that is also why BTS is so loved around the world. They aren't afraid to be themselves, to tell others what they are struggling with, to speak their mind... like they are millionaires ... singers.... dancers.. yet we are all able to relate to them somehow cause they choose to not change and remain humble even with money and fame in the picture.

His struggle with self acceptance and self love is so relatable, it honestly speaks to me on a spiritual level. Hi y’all! I watched so many videos of Park Jimin these past few weeks. This video took forever because I kept changing out the clips...there were so many clips I wanted to include but I couldn’t fit 😭 thanks to those who recommended me clips! Let me know what y’all think of this video. I have honestly re-edit this video so many times to the point that I don’t even know what to think of it anymore. It’s like you know how when you take a selfie and then you look at it and think it’s cute? But the more you look at it, the more you start disliking it cause you was staring at it for too long? Yea .. that’s how I feel every time I edit videos because I just keep watching it over and over it again to make sure I’m satisfied with it 😭😭🤣🤣 I have issues... I really need to stop doing that cause not that I waste my time but it messes with my head lol and I can not multi task for the life of me!!! This was an extremely inspiring video, I had always been fascinated by jimin specifically since he had gone through many hardships in his life that i can relate to with my own life . I have been a fan of BTS for a long time since there debut and I love each and every member but jimin really stood out to me. His motivation to work hard and his portrayal of deep emotions he feels through his dance and angelic singing really enlightened me. I’m actually currently writing a speech on the topic of friendship for my English exam which I will have to perform in front of my whole class. I was a bit unsure and doubted my ability on portraying my emotions through words for this topic to my audience, but after watching a couple of videos on jimin’s journey to where he is at now is really inspirational to me. I was never a high achiever and always settles for the bare minimum but after watching this video I feel more confident to expect more from myself and work harder. As jimin has said “ no matter how hard it is right now, think of what the results will make you feel” I want to live by this quote and be an inspiration to others as jimin has done for me and many other army’s out there!!!!!!

My eyes watered at this, I hate to see jimin sad.i look up to jimin for alot actually, he's such a respectful and kind man, his soul is so gentle. He means alot to me even though I don't know him in person. I understand, speaking from experience how hard it can be suffering with self doubt, all thoughts running through your head like a marathon. It's hard. Even harder, because he is an idol, and there's certain expectations that I wish was never piled onto him and his members. I really enjoyed seeing the arch of his story and how he used to be versus how he is now. His tender heart is so endearing and encouraging. He went through a lot of stuff and came out better and stronger than he was before. Thanks for showcasing that side of his personality. I've seen a lot of videos about bts life characters past and lots of more cause I want to know each member I want to know each of their stories but honestly only jimins story made me cry all of the things he has gone through the way he lives , the way he treats him self ,the extra work out ,the dangerous amount of food , and his crazy diet, he thinks he is not as good as the others ,was never happy about his image and performance but now he knows I'm so happy about him and he should have never gone through that at the past and we shouldn't let him go through that again 💜

It's so often true that those who are the most accepting of others are that way because they had to fight hard to accept themselves. Trying so hard not to burst into tears... Jimin reflects so much of my ongoing struggle. As a recovering perfectionist, I know just how hard it is to let little mistakes go. It's painful. It's so hard. And I struggle with it every day.
But Jimin and the rest of BTS are helping me get there, slowly.

this was beautiful and i am hard on myself just like him.....it hard when you think that no matter what its never enough.....im always working and then complaining about not having time to myself or not having enough money for things so i work more....i chase love and yet cant recognize it when i have it......especially when i have it for myself.....this is the second time ive cried today....real tears.....almost an ugly cry.....its sad when you are the one hurting you....doubting you.....its worse when others do the same and support those bad thoughts.....ive gotten away from those people but its taken me years and i still deal with those demons.....jimin-sii.....hahaha.....you were perfectly profound in speaking to me tonight......and chimchim - thanks for this video.....great job.......man, all these years and theres still so much work to do.....but at least now i am free to do it.....so ..... its time.

BTS means everything to me. They held my hand through the worst years of my life. I struggled with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, bullying, and suicide attempts. They were what held my hand through it all, no matter what happened, i could ALWAYS count on them to make my days better. Their music and videos got me through so much, i owe them my life. i learned to love myself with them. i learned to love others, even if they don’t feel like they deserve it. they helped so much. 💜
