For one of our last days snowboarding in Japan we were able to link up with our friends Casey and Daly and go explore a resort that was new to all of us called Kiroro. Kiroro is about an hour drive away from Niseko and is one of the resorts many local snowboarders told us we had to check out. Kiroro is known to have excellent terrain, especially for powder snow, however there hadn't been a recent storm so we ended up exploring the groomers and searching for side hits for most of the day. Great day riding our snowboards with an epic crew.

Seriously. Random ravines or crevices can pop up without warning even on chill powder tree lines. Makes you thankful to have friends (or an avalanche whistle)
