Also as much as I love Batman I have to agree with peacemaker on what he said, I will always love Batman but peacemaker is right his villains keep breaking out of prison and killing more innocent people.

Now, he has trouble with it. When he's recruited by Murn, he gets mad that he was only brought in to kill people. He's sick of it.

It's so weird how so many missed the point of this scene, it was less about Peacemaker making a point about Batman and more of an introspective on himself.
Batman being seen as a hero by people because he holds back and doesn't kill triggered Peacemaker to go on a rant because deep down he is questioning if what he's doing is heroic. Notice how when the old guy just said he was just trying to make conversation, Peacemaker stops and reels back because he realizes how defensive he's being?
And later Peacemaker admits he doesn’t want to kill people anymore so even he didn’t buy his reasons.
