PALETTE: An Intergenerational Art Program

VCU students and faculty from VCUarts and the schools of Allied Health Professions, Pharmacy, Dentistry and Social Work partner with PALETTE, an intergenerational art program, to help combat ageism.
By exposing students to older adults who are healthy and active in the community and by structuring the programming around the collaborative creation of art, PALETTE provides a forum for health profession students and older adults to build meaningful relationships outside of the usual medical model.
