- Working with these guys was every bit of fast and furious. We muscled in at least seven available light locations and numerous camera setups all over the city of Atlanta.
I love shooting in locales that can be depicted anywhere. In this case, we shot on the escalators of a Marta station, at least two separate alleyways, a downtown building rooftop complete with billboard scaffolding, a cafe/diner during peak business hours, and even a vacant building interior.
Look carefully for the cameos of Misa Hilton-Brim when short blonde hair was her number, and famed producer Eddie F simply lounging in the background. Misa styled the guys, and Eddie F produced the groups sensational track.
My girl Erica Holten obliged me with her rendition of dancer and actor for this clip. She would later marry LA Reid, becoming a dedicated philanthropist: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antonio_...

I bought 2 cassettes (yeah, I was old school) and 2 CD's of this album when it was out just in case I lost one during my life's journey. I no longer have any of the 2 cassettes but I'll hold onto my 2 Intro CD's and keep them in pristine condition long into my nursing home years. I was fortunate enough to see one of their finale performances here in Boston. They were great! Kenny's voice never wavered and he was just as handsome as you see him in this video.

Man this song is so fn classic.It came out Spring 1993- I was a freshman in hs . The harmony, chorus, & ED OG " I Got to Have It" beat. Im a 35 yr old white guy who fell in love with rb n hip hop in the late 80's and these songs will still resonate with me when Im 80 years old. The great thing is I get to play this music to my little 1 yr old!!

Every time, I listen to this song it brings back to this girl I knew and worked with at McD's, She went to FSU. She had a little kid but I always felt that we had a lot in common. I really liked this girl. A friend told me and warned me about her that she has a boyfriend. A Ft. Bragg soldier. I was 23, like a Fool, a Simp I bought her a Valentine's Day card and with a perfume. And I made a Tape of Barry White Classics. She was a AKA sorority. She was a school teacher. I was rejected by her March 1994. I remember. She told me she doesn't date on the job and she kind of looked down on me. I was lost with words but she assured me that I was a kind and handsome young man. That night, I called my Friend (we're still Boys), told him everything that happened. He told me to leave her alone don't go by the College campus chasing her and I didn't. I was depressed for a while. Then at times when she and I worked together we argued from time to time. I'll never forget, the last time I saw her. I was working morning shift. She came by to order breakfast. I was Making Biscuits. She was wearing a nice light green business dress similar to the girl in the video. By that time she quit working at McD's and she went back home to Charlotte. The morning sun was shining bright on her. I'll never forget when we gave each other one last eye contact. She was Beautiful. But, It was over. I never saw her again. This song will always bring up painful memories of her.
