- If you're a parent considering taking your kid(s) to this "A Day Out With Thomas" event, do NOT hesitate. It is sure to thrill your whole family. In this video, Thomas the Tank Engine pulls an excursion train at the Orange Empire Railway Museum in Perris, CA. My family and I had a wonderful time seeing and riding behind Thomas (just watch my 1-1/2 year-old daughter's enthusiasm!), while also riding other short excursion trains and visiting various railroading exhibits.
