The Thai girls are very pretty to be working selling street foods. Btw, you looked very very similar to your niece. Both of you same age ? Your niece is the daughter of your sister ? Did you ever have to worry about travellers diaherra while travelling in South East Asia? Travellers diaherra or food poisoning is very common for Western visitors. Our western stomach has lost the strong immune system to the exotic food in Asia. We were told to especially avoid the ice. Did you try to avoid any food to stay safe in Asia?
Hi Christine 🤗, you are right! I did have food poisoning when I first ate curry noodle in a so called popular spot for local in Kuala Lumpur. My friend and I both got very sick and both of us are living abroad for many years but her sister from local and she didn't get sick. So I believe what you've just said. I was so sick and doctor gave me 2 antibiotics to kill whatever inside my tummy. Since then, I only eat at the restaurant that is air conditioning To stay safe, I avoid the roadside food stall or prepared food. Choose the hot, freshly cooked food. I drink coconut water and pure fruit juice or hot tea mostly. Ice from the mall or upscale restaurants should be fine for me.
