Weight vs Performance | VMAX VX5

I've been curious how weight affects beginner scooters with only a single motor. With more powerful, dual motor scooters you don't have to worry as you have plenty of power but with something smaller, will there by any difference and should you splurge on something more powerful?

Too many variables. Wouldn't it have been easier and more valid simply to have one rider and add weight?
