My daughter’s name is Felicity. It’s so neat to see someone else with the same name. Saint Felicity is such an inspiration along with Saint Perpetua. What a blessing to be named after her. God bless you Sister Felicity!
Welcome Sr. Felicity. May He, who is above all things bless your new chapel. God bless you as well, sisters, for the work you are doing to bring God's people closer to Him and for your gift to serve both Him and us; may your journey be fruitful. Fr. Len
Many, many are choosing religious life. They are drawn to traditional orders, many of which are being forced to expand their facilities to accommodate new vocations.
I think she wanted to ask how long it took, until you took your 1st profession of vows or simple vows? Then, how long does it take till you take Solemn Vows or Perpetual Vows. Do you recieve the Blue Habit then? Is this a New Community of Consecrated Religious? I Love the name Felicity as well. I've got a Deep Devotion to Our Lady of Perpetual Help & St Therese the Lil Flower.⚘️✝️
Do you mean 'Veils'? Some communities wear them, other's don't. Not sure if it's a preference or not. I would much rather wear one. I discerned to become a Consecrated Religious back in '97 and on. I had a 'late' calling. I was 35, going on 36. If I could do it again, I'd be Visitation Sister (Teacher), Salsian, or ? I am Franciscan Spirituality, and some Carmelite.
@@maryw.5431 Thank you for the explanation. I am Jewish and wear head covering.....Tichel. I know some Jewish ladies consider wearing a wig a head covering but a Tichel is so much more comfortable. Wigs? They itch to darn much! LOL Other thing I've noticed is that women, in the Nursing profession, don't wear a cap any longer.
Sister Felicity-God's blessings on each minute of your life's devotion to the Source of Love🙏🌹
Praying for Sister Felicity and all those who serve our Lord as religious vocations Amen
Thank you!
To sister Felicity ! It is the best habit a woman can get into! God Bless and Be with You on your Journey!😇🙏
Thank you!

Love that this is in Sewanee, TN. It's a beautiful serene place.
Indeed it is!
It's sad that no one wants to do this anymore.

Could you clarify your question?

Why is a priest involved in this?
Why are there no head coverings?

Also, keep in mind that this is an Episcopalian order, not Roman Catholic.
Where did she those shoes?
Es una ceremonia catolica?
We are an Episcopal order of nuns. We are not Roman Catholic. (No, somos Episcopales)
What religion is that ?
Looks like catholicism.
Episcopal Christian
@@stephanietanniss I stand corrected. Thanks for the clarification.
It is a new community formed by the Roman Catholic Church. Please say a little prayer for them. Fr. Len Stark ,ORC
It looks Episcopalian to me.
Is this a legitimate Catholic order … they seem to be dressed like cults. Where are their holy habits?
We are an Episcopal religious community.
