i tried posting a reply already, but it looks like youtube may have editted it or removed it for some reason. i bought the game from ea/origin in the c&c pack with all the games. red alert 2 ran like garbage when i upgraded to windows 10. i found a post on the Microsoft Community forums by jessee_968 that explained how to fix the sluggishness. you have to go into the .ini file in the RA game folder and change "VideoBackBuffer" to equal "no". i imagine the game will run similarly in windows 11 if you buy from origin so maybe this will help.
Why are you so blind to open gaps in base layouts, obvious flight paths of enemy paratroopers and planes? Take the 2-4 secs to consider those gaps and you would have more straight wins..
