A lengthy process and from what I have seen of the results you have done a fantastic job. I've bought all the Volume I I-X of the Equinox, The Book of Lies and ΘΕΛΗΜΑ and am looking forward to the next hardcover release. Dare I hope it will be The Book Of Thoth? My softcover of this is getting tatty now and the prices of hardbacks in the second hand bookstores is outrageous, even for the 2016 Weiser reprint. Forget an original - even if you can find one for sale at all it will be ludicrously expensive and out of my price range. Message to anybody reading this who has not yet bought the 10 volumes of Equinox V1 - do so. You will not be disappointed, I assure you.
Good video. Thank you. I have a similar routine to clean up pages. My aims are different at times: I want to create compressible scanned documents. The result of manual effort are often quite good.
This solves your problem, but with my issue is I scanned from a printed heavy paper and some of the line drawings are filling up with more black. But your video gives me an idea how some of those tools work. Thanks.
This is pretty helpful, thank you! Do you have any tips on how to correct files where the image scan quality is not that great to start with AND the text is very faded? Everything I've tried just keeps creating additional artifacts and the scanning method blends the background to the text.
Hi man, really liked this! Could u show how to do this in something like Gimp or Affinity - maybe considering also another problems which may occure selfscanning a book!
Excellent stuff. Ideal for what I need in terms of cleaning up the pages of a book I will be typesetting for reprint. One question, please - can I set the margins to include bleed, so that the background remains consistent throughout the page?
Angle correction step is easier via Lens Correction tool - Filter / Lens Correction / Straighten tool (hotkey: A). Just show the straight line (doesn't matter if vertical or horizontal) and Photoshop would rotate image accordingly. You can also double click with this tool so Photoshop automatically finds any straight line
ScanTailor freeware was designed specifically for cleaning up scanned pages. I use it frequently. You might want to try giving it a go and compare ScanTailor results and ease of use to Photoshop results and ease of use. Best Regards, Charles :)
93! I would like to catch up with you sometime and discuss your work in relation to mine. We seem to have some common interests in Thelema, Holy Books and 3D

Oh - by the way - has the Groups page for Keep Silence been removed? I cannot seem to access it from the main site when trying to access the RSS feed.
