I’m curious if it will hold the standard size dremel bit.

I also bought one of these drills and had high hopes for it but I’m disappointed in that it looks like there is no bit retention on it. In your video you tightened the black piece that is on the end but did it really hold the bit in? If you unscrew it and look inside, I expected to see some type of clamp that when you twist the black end, it grabs the bit. But I didn’t see that nor does there appear to be any magnetic retention. If I hold the drill with the bit pointed down, it just dropped out of the drill. I was looking to see if anyone had videos up yet on this tool and saw yours but you didn’t hold the drill with the bit pointed down. Just wondering if yours behaves the same where the bit drops out or maybe my drill is missing a part and is defective. If you can, please follow up to indicate if on your drill the bit is able to be tightened so it does not fall out. Thanks. Right now I am disappointed in my drill and I had high hopes it would be good. I realize it is intended just for craft drilling but I expected a better means for the bit to be secured in the drill. Thank you for the video.

Mine does stay in. It i don't think I had the bit in far enough. It has a clamp inside the brass looking bit on this photo photos.app.goo.gl/KsvXBbHwYWDEEJML8 It doesn't call out when its upside down. I've not used it much at all that was the first look. but it seems good for the price. It won't be drilling any walls but for 3d prints it will be amazing I think

@@apcyberax Thank you so much for the photo! When I saw that small clamp piece I realized I was missing it. I remembered when I first took the cap off the drill, that black end piece must have been loose because it fell on the floor. I thought it was the only piece that fell but I went back and looked around on the floor and I found that clamp and put it back where it goes. Now I can tighten the bit so it doesn’t fall out. Now my drill works good. Thank you again. 🙂

Puhh... I was _aching_ for something like this for _ages..._ Basically something with a _slow_ rpm like the *Wowstick* / *SQ-ES126* / *Bosch IXO* Electric Screwdrivers but capable of accepting Model Making sized Drill Bits _with_ a pen like shape ( so no Pistol Grip like on the Bosch IXO ). I _was_ this close to placing an order but judging how bad the Drill Bit in your video is slipping and the fact that it doesn't use what _I_ would call industry standard ⅛" Drill Bits ( I have never before of 2.35mm ones before 😐 ) makes this an _excruciating_ hard sell to me...

I want to follow up on this as its not far to judge the product by my stupidity of not putting the bit in very well. Remember as well I think I have made the but a bit blunt playing with it but here is follow-up test. It works perfectly on PLA 3d prints. and i drilled through a hard drive. Took some time but it went through fine ruclips.net/video/oNBdCTFu-JY/видео.html on and the battery seems to need charging :)
