Question to all of you: in this video I shifted earlier as I had many comments complaining that I hold the RPM too high. What do you guys think? Is it better like this or should I go back to shifting at higher RPM, how I actually drive the car off camera. The GT-R does not really like low RPM that much and I had another GT-R before this that I drove for 150,000km shifting at high RPM mostly and the engine never had issues.
Shift however you like. The car sounds great, both in low and high RPM. I totally understand how high performance cars don't really like the lower rev range, so let it rip, my man.

My sister has recently moved from Sweden to Japan and she is loving it , seeing r34's everyday and much more , it grows on me , I maybe want to move my self :)
I am also from Erope and when I moved to Japan it was the first time going overseas for me. Everything is so different it takes about 4 years to get used to it and loose the wow feeling you get when you come here. I imagine Sweden has very low population density so here it's the total opposite. Did you ever visit?

Not only that. But when its 1 lane and they cruise 10km below the speed limit, when the lane splits into 2 lanes you try to over take them and they speed to 10km over the limit.
Guys, here's the thing - You can Night Drive and don't need a GTR. I Night Drive in my Corolla Touring. You can Night Drive in a car simulator for all I care. All you need is music and vibe. The rest is all YOU!
I do not think the Y pipe affects the exhaust note too much, it's more about the volume. The rear section changes the tone, and it is the stock nismo titanium exhaust

Hope you can get a GT-R one day! When it came out I was in high-school and this car was more expensive than my parents home. Never thought I could have one, but I moved to Japan as a student and somehow I managed to get one after just 4 years of working here. So I am sure you can do it and probably even better
@jepurjepurovic6378 it automatically adjusts exposure based on the light conditions. At night it's way better than a normal mirror. RUclips does not allow links in comments but I see plenty of them on Amazon. Some have Android Carplay on them and it doubles as GPS. Ebay also has them
Yes it doubles as a digital mirror but also front and rear drive recorder. You can find similar ones on Amazon or Ebay. This specific one is called jado smart.
Hello! another R35 owner in Yokohama, I live in Motomachi area. I love the exhaust note, I currently have a Kuhl's Racing exhaust that was installed on the car from the previous owner, but after hearing your exhaust I may consider swapping it out lol.
Yellow one in Japan is the highest Octane one (most expensive one). Green is diesel and red is the low Octane gasoline. If I put the red one it will probably run lean and blow up the engine.

Here is the tip : In city vlog drive it normal but rev it sometime When you will do freeway or highway vlog you can unleash the beast a little To be honest i like this car too much and to pull it fast with crackels from it😅
We call that GT/R here in the land of Porsche, Mercedes, Audi & BMW simply Godzilla. You don't see a lot of them but once in a while. Nice and great engineered car made in Japan. 👍
Japanese do not know about the Godzilla nickname. You do not see many R35 here either. If you go to central Tokyo, like Omotesnado area and sit there for 30 minutes you will probably see 15 Porsche 911 and a few Lamborghini. GT-R you will probably not see any.
You Tube won't allow links but if you google GT-R Carbon Key case you will find the exact same one on ebay or Amazon. They probably have it on Alexpress also. Been using it for 8 years and it still holds well.
Hello. The car is mostly stock. I have a GReddy Y Pipe, Brixtkn Forged Wheels and Nismo Wing, Linney Blow Off Valves. I used fo have a Full bolt on 2009 GT-R before this one that I drove for about 150,000 km, but now that I have kids I can make the car too loud so I keep it mostly stock. Ah I forgot, the car is tuned by NISMO, which is the only way to remove the 180kmh speed limiter workout voiding warranty.

Been wanting to move to Japan for years now, getting a job is not an issue for me. Issue is the services available for one of my kids that Autistic seems to be really limited.
There's almost no support for kids here, at least nothing compared to Europe but it's very safe for now. I am sure there's schools for your kid to go to, but not English-speaking ones.
You are lucky to drive a car in Japan because people there, including you, obey road markings, unlike us Indonesians, if the car in front of us is going slowly we will overtake it even if we have to break the road markings. 😂😂
I've been to Indonesia *Bali many times and I agree that driving there is kinda crazy.. in Japan you rarely can overtake as most roads have the yellow like in the middle so you're always stuck behind some car unless you wanna risk loosing your license. Boring but safe I guess.

As a person living in Hong Kong, 9521 yen - that's 477 HKD / 61.3 USD for almost 54 Liters of Premium gas is very cheap. In HKD 54L of gas needs 1119 HKD = 22329 yen.
Yea whenever I tell friends I have a GT-R they all ask me how much gas it uses, but the gas price in Japan is low so I do not really care about gas consumption. Toll roads are the big expense here.
Bro if possible please try to shift at a lil high rpm..i know it would hurt the engine but if possible pls do so (: (ik im not someone who can tell since I don't have a gtr but this is just a suggestion.. and ofc drive safe (: ..
Thanks for the suggestion. Actually I normally shift at higher RPM off camera but people have been complaining in the entire that i keep the RPM too high, so if this video i tried granny shifting it. Check l the video posted 3 weeks ago called Tokyo Sunset Rush Hour. I shift at higher RPM there. Let me know please if you like the way I shift there more.
The car is totally fine to go higher RPM. This is my second GT-R, and my previous one i drove it for 150,000km and it was FBO. I always shifter over 3000 RPM when driving like this and the car did not have any issues.

Lanes are very narrow overall and most roads in Nokendai aswell.
I never felt they are very narrow around Kanazawa-ku. Tokyo has some ridiculously narrow streets that I do not dare to drive on.

It's just the OEM lights. Not sure what it uses but the headlights on the 2017+ gtr are really bright

@jebabalos95 it's not on the exhaust, it's on the rear bumper next on the license plate. I use a gopro mouth (the one with sticky tape on it).

I've been to Indonesia *Bali many times and I agree that driving there is kinda crazy.. in Japan you rarely can overtake as most roads have the yellow like in the middle so you're always stuck behind some car unless you wanna risk loosing your license. Boring but safe I guess.

I can do the loop from Tatsumi but not at speed. People get arrested here for posting speeding videos.."this is mexico" does not work around here, so unfortunately when I film I have to stay within the speed limits.

As a person living in Hong Kong, 9521 yen - that's 477 HKD / 61.3 USD for almost 54 Liters of Premium gas is very cheap. In HKD 54L of gas needs 1119 HKD = 22329 yen.
Yea whenever I tell friends I have a GT-R they all ask me how much gas it uses, but the gas price in Japan is low so I do not really care about gas consumption. Toll roads are the big expense here.

Thanks for the suggestion. Actually I normally shift at higher RPM off camera but people have been complaining in the entire that i keep the RPM too high, so if this video i tried granny shifting it. Check l the video posted 3 weeks ago called Tokyo Sunset Rush Hour. I shift at higher RPM there. Let me know please if you like the way I shift there more.
The car is totally fine to go higher RPM. This is my second GT-R, and my previous one i drove it for 150,000km and it was FBO. I always shifter over 3000 RPM when driving like this and the car did not have any issues.
