like the design. very well made, just wondering did you have drawing plans of did you make it, and fit it as u go? would you mind someone copying the machine ?
I'm impressed. Would you mind if I will use your idea? Can you tell me how much rpm and how much kW electric motor is? How much cuts per minute blade makes? What machinery did you take parts from?
attach a christmas tree wrapping machine to the end were the wood comes out and cut bags filled to the length of your choosing:) kinda like making sausages;) or maybe make a smaller attachment to hold the netting instead, you seem to have some skills (we had a bucket with the bottom cut out and a machine similar to yours), ok just a suggestion so you dont have to pick up all the wood off the floor and you can sell it by the bagful to:) ps. i sold kindling and xmas trees in the past, its why i know this, just sayin lol, have a good one! this type of netting here ruclips.net/video/srw0EVt6-6w/видео.html
Nice work , I have been splitting pallets by hand , after cutting them to size ,the knots in the wood are the very devil ,but your machine seems to handle the knots well .You say the important thing is to have a heavy flywheel , thats noted thanks , and could you incline the wood feed , so gravity feeds the wood onto the chisel , just a thought ....
I don't mind if anyone wants to copy the design, this machine uses a 1.5kw motor 1400 rpm, the cutting head is running at about 200 rpm! The important part of this machine is the flywheel, needs to be heavy. And I used a modified chisel from a sds drill!
A simple well made machine that gets the job done....Very nice indeed!
thanks
