OMFG YES!!! I was SO hoping for this song to be played live ASAP and now it happend! This is just 10 times better, this is such a bass driven song, Pau doing the harmonies after first chorus is perfection, then Dany with the killer riffs in the chorus and bridges.. and this is just the first time they play it? These girls are something else... Amazing
Amazing Dany does not need stand alone solos because she is soloing during the entire song! The sounds she extracts from her guitars are genius. While killing it singing!
What a killer song. Again. Liked everything from the tricky guitar riffs, the bass carrying the song, Pau's backing vocals, and the harmonies at the end when they were all singing different parts. Wasn't sure they could pull this one off live, but I shouldn't be surprised any more. Thanks for posting!
One of my favorite songs because of the breakdown.I remember listening to it the first time and I just had to stop what I was doing just to appreciate that breakdown.

the future of Rock is safe in the hands of The Warning, their shows just scream Pure Rock! they really do have it all, brains, beauty, attitude, humour, style and talent period
Wow, aquí Dani se esta exigiendo demasiado, la cantidad de arpegios combinados con cantar hace este tema de alta dificultad y es algo que pocos se detienen a observar.
This is a GREAT track! Ale's bass dominates and Pau's drum beat hits like a champ. But Dany's guitar part is very complicated. She is so talented as she manages the many tones of the song while singing. Such an elite performer! Long live rock n roll!!
Sounds like The Warning have been performing Escapism for years as it is perfection - stunning that this is debut of song. But I should not be surprised as this is What they Do.
I was wondering how Escapism would sound live. I knew there would be some adjustments but It sounds really close to the studio version. The girls writes songs to be played live. In short, sounds great. Even better than I thought. 😮🤘🏻⚡

@@cncs2806 i found her drums were trash on this new album. Error they were more refined this just felt like what she would write after a first pass/improvising

really? I Love The Warning, seen them 2 times already, but don't be fanatic. There are lots of huge better guitar players, even amateurs without a band
@@clamatac I agree with you, but also think that not many of those great guitar players would be able to sing and play the way she does by not using only chords. The one that comes to mind that is way at the top, not only playing the guitar, but singing at the same time, is Lindsay Buckingham. Not comparing her to him, he is a beast. What Im trying to say is that she has the brains to become a great shredder if it was only her duty, but also what is great about her, is that she has taste to do solos, even if they are easy to play. Most guitarrists can cover their songs easily, but non of them, even on actual bands, can come up with those memorable riffs.
She’s an awesome guitar player because she plays rhythm and lead riffs throughout all their various songs. Not a walk in the park when you’re also the lead singer. But she’s not in Stevie Ray Vaughan territory or anyone like that and isn’t trying to be. She plays the guitar, I think, in the way that’s best for each song, as decided by all three of the band members during their very collaborative song writing process-even when it means she’s playing riffs and runs that are not necessarily following the rhythm of the melody she’s singing-and therefore making it harder on herself. Btw, Ale and Pau do the same thing-adding harmonies and sometime lead vocals that don’t always necessarily follow, rhythmically, what they’re playing on their instruments. It’s something that takes a lot of practice to be able to pull off live-and is one of the reasons, I think, the band’s music sounds so full and rich live, even though there’s only three of them. I think what Dany is, is a professional, fun and creative guitar player who has an ear for cool and catchy riffs that are exactly what’s needed to add a little something extra to each song. Just my layperson’s perspective.🙂
@@clamatac I'm not just referring to mechanical/technical skills, but to artistry. Dany with her playing is creating style and mood for each unique song. The super players, who I suppose you are referring to, play fast scales or complicated time signatures, but thats not artistry. Its just technical. The amateurs you refer to are usually playing covers, not creating a body of work like Dany has done. What Dany is doing is much more difficult to do.
After a long time, Pau is using her hihat extensively to build rhythm for songs. Keep Me Fed album will be remembered for songs like Escapism & Consume where Pau brought back Swing through the hihat.

Great arrangement, they don’t use much backing track here for a song that has a lot of synth on the album. The band does have a rule that they need to be able to play live songs without the computer if necessary (the software has malfunctioned live before).
It’s good to see the new songs from the album getting worked up for live performances. I know that they have little time to rehearse. I’m seeing them on Sunday and am really hoping for “Sharks”, but I know it’s going to be a great show whatever the set list.
They've said Sharks is the hardest to play live and they haven't had much time to rehearse so I'm thinking they're saving it for some of the bigger festivals later this year or maybe even for their big shows in Mexico next year.
