I collected in the late 1970s, as a teen. If you lived in Ohio, Buckeye cone tops were the Holy Grail. Sadly, I never had one. Thanks for posting this video, Forbes. It brought back a lot of memories: Asahi, Fosters Lager, Coors, Black Label, St. Pauli Girl ... I could go on and on. What a blast!
Such an amazing story. I absolutely love the way he laid out the house for the cans. So freaking stylish!! So cool that home would probably fly with the wife lol
Rick from Pawn Stars would be like ''Listen, I have to frame all of these cans, they're gonna take up a lot of space in my shop, so my final offer is $150 cash, and you can punch Chumlee in the gut. Take it or leave it.''
Collected back in 1970s & having assess to workers of several DC area Embassies that saved both full & empty beer cans . They are now still in a shed in DC area discarded on floor!
I'm not surprised this guy is from PA, I grew up in Bucks County, PA and beer can collecting was really popular when I was a kid. Tons of old breweries in the area, and they drank lots of beer.
Wow , Sir this is truly amazing . I can See & Hear the Love and Respect you have for The Beer Can and its history. I'm watching this with tears in my eyes....I love anything Beer related , especially Vintage Beer Brands . Sir , you have got such a beautiful display of beer cans . I'm a collector of Beer Cans ( 36 ) some Bottles ( 21 ) Bottle Caps and Vintage Beer Brand Openers and Beer Steins , Mugs & Glasses ( Mostly Vintage Beer Brands/Logos ) .
@@truthseeker3909 History...sure. But it doesn't add more than the price of scarp steel to the 3 million dollars price. So I want to see the real cans that make up 80% of the 3 million dollar value.
Nope not really worth anything they got nothing in the van food expires if you don’t drink them your comparing hardwares to food you can collect hardwares no problem but food isn’t a collector
Hmmm wow that's a Kool story.. Arrogant mnch???? Ya start telling a story from only 45 years collecting...hmmm I'm a 5th generation collection/ collector...I see shine from a dollar bought...but nothing of a mint collected but maybe a few.....I have a can I'll promise you ..that you don't have and only respect to the hobby would MAYBE GET
Isn't it great? As a fellow beer can collector, we're basically collecting garbage. There's no smell though, as long as you rinse out each one before it hits the shelf.
Bro started talking about the first can ever, and you just cut away instantly. Very professional
I LOVE when I see collections that are beautifully presented rather than just being clumped all throughout the house. Love this!
So beautifully displayed! Truly awesome! Thanks for sharing!

I had about 200 cans at one point, my father threw them out while I was at college. Remember Billy Beer???
Such an amazing story. I absolutely love the way he laid out the house for the cans. So freaking stylish!! So cool that home would probably fly with the wife lol
Now there's a fellow with can do attitude!
You think you're funny
Not bad, for a dad. I believe you are missing an 'a" in your statement.
Beautiful!! I love old Beer cans!

"It will take me a long time to sell them, I've got to find buyers for each can, and I have to wait to get paid."
Great video, My dad's cousin worked for American Can
His house is a museum and I love it! 🙂

This Guy: Hold my beer.
That is amazing Speechless
Is amazing , quality is there too . Oh , to have the space .
Magnificient, congrats Jeff!
I would never do that. I'm bothered if I see a can in my house I have to drink it. I don't save leftovers.

Say it again!
They are full with beers? I though was empty
@@yoshaosaxofonista Empty. Over time, the beer will seep thru the cans that have seams. Steel cans from the 1970’s and earlier are not unibody
@@yoshaosaxofonista he said that most of them were empty, not all of them.
The best Rick can offer is $40.
Amazing.
Just a Man and his Cans.

how cool!!!
its gotta smell great there
"I'm sort of dug in now." 🤔 Understatement of the century. BTW, 3 million is an absurd underestimate, if you've seen the prices lately.
I'll keep doing it as long as i ... can ...
Impressive
Excelente Coleccion
I got to respect his passion. Good for him he has found his happiness.
as long as i "can" 🤣🤣
Idk why I thought this was movies 🤣
I got some really rare Swedish beer cans such as flats, and tabs, and gallons as well. I am from Sweden...you need anything special?
I prefer my wife and my girlfriend's Cans
1:22 for sure
Those imported cans are only worth scrap steel prices. You do have others that are awesome.
Or they add more to history of cans then scrap steel prices. They are still awesome.
