I want to thank you for this, Justine. My best friend is getting married soon. She searched youtube for wedding invitations, found this one, fell in love with it and I made them for her. Thank you so much for your video, great explanations, great step by step. Instead of cutting up an old book, my friend printed scripture that has to do with marriage and I distressed it. Looked great! Thank you again!
Justine...just wanted to give you a big thank you for this video. My "daughter" is getting married in December. She priced invitations, which are outrageous, found your video and asked me to make them for her. Your instructions were great, easy to follow, and I really appreciate you. Thanks so much! They came out great!!! Her colors are purples, which really made up nicely.
They are mostly stamps used on the cards from so Suzy stamps. I cannot for the life of me remember the font I used for the information on the invitation
Hi Justine! I LOVE these invitations. My wedding colors are royal blue with coral accents. How would you recommend that I use those colors with this design?!
+Nicole Gottsacker Thanks for watching. I would do royal blue invitations instead of the grey like I used and coral as the accent colour (I used a coral colour as well on mine)
Thank you so much! I just started making these for my wedding. I used plum, sparkle gold, and white card stock. For the ink I found some gold glitter ink that looks so GOOD on the plum with some standard black for the front little "buckle!" I wish I could upload a picture. ❤️❤️ I'm curious what size your information and RSVP cards are for the pocket?
Wow exciting! Congrats on making your own that's awesome. I unfortunately don't remember the measurements since this video it quite old. I think though I used computer paper size cardstock and wanted to be sure I could print three length wise to not waste paper if that helps.
Hi Justine! My sister-in-law is looking for a way to make affordable yet elegant invitations. She really likesd this idea and she was wondering what type of paper did you use to make the invitation folder. If you could let me know me know that would be great! Thank you!
julie anne tapit Hi Julie, just head on over to sosuzystamps.com - she does international shipping (and just a hint, on the 1st of every month she does FREE shipping even on international orders)! Thanks for watching
i want to learn how to make my own invitation wedding but i dont the tool that i use. can you tell me all the tools that you use in this tutor? thanks before. btw im iwan from indonesia. great to know you
Well I used the Trimmer (stampin up) to cut and make the creases in the paper. I used the Fiskars Stamping tool for stamp the stamps. Some grey, coral and black ink and paper. And the So Suzy Stamps Wedding Dress and This Day Forward stamp.
Valerie Kakarides All my supplies are listed on the blog. But the Cardstock I used is Close to my Heart: Slate and Sorbet and White Daisy. The wording paper is from a book actually. I also used some Colonial White from Close to my Heart.
+PaisleyandJenn The information cards cannot be wider than 5 inches across and no higher than 5 1/2 inches tall if that makes sense. The sizes would depend on the information you need to put on there, the font and size you use, etc.
I usually use Tombow Mono Liquid Adhesive and the red tape double sided adhesive for extra durability if I need it. Both are found at most craft stores.
