“He didn’t leave the starting lineup during practice, which shouldn’t be shocking considering his only real competition on the roster is rookie DJ Glaze. While Munford has made several starts at left tackle and right tackle during his first two years in the league, he has never been a full-time starter. He once struggled with his confidence, but that’s no longer the case. He believes he’s fully capable of being the long-term answer at right tackle.”

Munford was good coming out of Ohio. He played really well at Tackle, stepped into guard, and dropped draft stock. That's been well talked about. I believe he continues to improve and show out there.
He was good last year in the limited snaps he had. Question is could he progress more or was it just one good year. I always say depth is necessary but Munford has a chance to solidify the RT spot

Based on last season I’d say no, however he showed up to camp leaner and toned up. He has a much quick step and more explosion, so YES!!!! Munny is developing

Carl Cockerham made a video over a year ago letting us know we had our RT(Thayer Munford) already on the team. Other than Josh McDummy favoring Elumenor, Munford earned the job.

It's not a surprise for me whatsoever that Thayer is dominating early in OTAs I saw every game he played in at Thee Ohio State and knew he was a steal when we drafted him late I've been trying say for mos that the Raiders may not draft a RT early and that they had confidence in Thayer but of course ppl were saying Thayer wasn't a starter and we needed to draft another RT or get a free agent... WOW look how things have changed I don't like to say I told you so but yeah I told ppl so months ago.

Thayer Munford confidence level is a 6.2- 6.7 range. The coaches were confident for a reason.
This is easy and expected by me I have believed he was ready last year and this offseason he pushed even more and has been in tha best spot now to be tha guy goin forward thas why I wasn’t big on rt in tha draft round one

He’s been solid with Miami I believe
He's been serviceable, but He didn't cover multiple positions over two years for us. Munford has, and did extremely well filling in for Miller last season. Team obviously feels like he's gonna be solid with the moves they did or didn't make.

Munford just needed to believe in himself and the coaches to believe in him for him to become a dominate RT I think he just had a shitty situation last couple years with coaches and not having belief in himself which has changed

We need to see them in pads and actually hitting people in games but Munford did show signs at the end of the year. Every year we get this type of headline but it doesn’t mean anything until games start. I do think Munford has a chance to be an above average T as he was pretty good at OSU.

I’m starting to think they knew Kolton wasn’t gonna be 100% so that’s why they drafted Glaze to be that backup swing tackle, i feel like Glaze plays more on the left side this year with Thayer holding it down at RT.

It’s a shame they can’t develop Dalton Wagner. We might have to start considering life without Kolton Miller, as the injuries are keeping him out of the lineup more frequently.
I've been saying it for a while but we didn't skip a beat when Munford was in for injured Kolton Miller last year. Wasn't overly impressed with Eluemenor. A poor person starter, basically. The way Munford played last year made Eluemenor expendable.
