I like this drama because it didn't have that typical storyline where main lead changes into a good person because of female lead. In this drama Hwan didn't become a better person because of Eun su.Yes, her presence and his grandma's liking towards her make him think about his ways. Also, working in restaurant to earn money, its importance makes him realise how he was taking everything for granted. And the lastly when he realise how he has disappointed everyone around him. I still remember the scene when he overhears a conversation between the grandma and butler about her disappointment in him. Her presence only created a situation in which he could face all that. Ofcourse he admires her as she is so different from what he is and thats why he fell in love with her. His character development is driven by self realisation. In the end, he is mature enough to try to stand on his own, forgive Seungmi for her deceit and even let Eun Sung follow her dream to study.
This was one of my favourite kdramas due to the addictive storyline and amazing plot twists. I was never bored. Was he a jerk in the beginning? Yes. But as they became closer, you could tell how she made him a better person and it was amazing to see their chemistry on screen. 10/10

And that person is now my long time boyfriend. These Kdrama is very memorable and very nice. We love Eun Sung and Hwan so much. Hope they will be together again in another drama. ❤️❤️

Ang tagal na Pala nito, just done watching now. I didn't want to watch this coz of the male lead star Lee seung ji, but when I wasn't able to find what to watch, I tried to watch it. At first, it seems boring, but when I was already in the midst of ep1, I started to enjoy watching it. Good! That I continued watching it. Ang Ganda Pala Ng kdrama nato. Buti nlang cnubukan Kong panoorin, otherwise, I would miss 1 one of the best kdrama. Now, I know why Lee seung gi got lot of fans.
