legit!!! this is awesome!! I like korean music but I have never really considered learning it. I always took it at face value. This put it in a new perspective for me Thanks a bunch!
Great I love it!! Great idea for learning Korean. That's one reason I gave up on Japanese. All the text books teach you via Romajii which Japanese hardly ever use. It the same reason why most Japanese can 't speak English due to Katakana. What's the point people using something which has a completely different meaning in Japanese then it is in English. They will never learn English that way. I would imagine the same applies to Korean as far as the Romanization goes as you mentioned.
can't say that i can agree with some of your statements regarding japanese. but you're correct that koreans only use one phonetic alphabet. each letter has a sound, you put letters together to form words - just like english. sometimes chinese characters are used once in awhile, but we don't rely on them to communicate. good luck with learning korean, i think that it's cool that you're trying to learn our language.
BTW I was told that Korean is kinda similar to English in the since that there is only one alphabet is this true? If so that is one huge headache already out of the way. Japanese has 4 to learn which is a nightmare. Not counting all the particles and honorifics and such lol. Korean I suppose has those as well in that respect but having a physical alphabet would be a relief. Hangul is a lot easier to read too for what I heard. Hanja is also used which is harder but was told isn't used as much?
