I use about 30 pallets of Baltic Birch plywood per year. I have been looking for alternatives, and this is not going to be an alternative because once again, like all other inferior plywoods, the outer veneers are paper thin. I simply cannot sand it gently enough without removing it. The laser cutting process leaves a residue on the surface from vaporizing and re-depositing. I have to sand it off on most of my products and I'd be ruining them. Also, if the inner veneer is thicker, it tends to be more flexible along one axis or the other where Baltic Birch has a more consistent stiffness along each axis, at least with the 6mm. Look up the products I'm making on baltic by design.
