No matter how wonderful the book is, I won’t be reading it. She is extremely rude, condescending, and argumentative when readers express their opinions on the book. Her team should definitely get a handle on her. Can’t be a diva with ONE book ma’am.
Yup. Same. She has been rude to multiple bookstagrammers. She doesn't realize how the word of her unprofessionalism is spreading rapidly in the Black book community. We won't be buying anything else from her so she better enjoy whatever she made.
I loved this book. She writes beautifully, poetically, from her heart and multi generational experiences of living in Memphis. I lived in Memphis from '93-'03 but as a white woman, none of the prejudicial experiences her family endured. Ms Stringfellow has a brilliant future!
I just finished reading the book and i thought the book was choppy , but I see where she was trying to go. I would have liked the mothers story 1st then the children and then ended with the younger generation. I didn't like the going in and out of generations, but I enjoyed the book. I checked it out from the library.
@@blackheartcardigan the subject is too triggering for me to discuss again, but I went through it for days because of this book. With no trigger warning, it's so upsetting to me.

Just read about this. So sad for her.

She’s been very rude to book reviewers and commenters online. Very condescending.
I enjoyed this book a lot. I wish she had put a trigger warning in the beginning so people of sensitive groups would be prepared for all chaos.
This book was a DNF for me 😑
This interview made me want to read this book even more.
I can't wait to read this.
Thank you sharing... Very nice..
