Not bad. Love the book tables. I live near Mackenzie Childs. We go there all the time. Have 3 friends that work there. My kitchen is full of Mackenzie Childs. We own a lot of it for Christmas too. If you’re ever near Aurora, NY which is home to Mackenzie Childs you must go see it. The house is just stunning and you can tour it. But great video, great work.

On the spline of the books, a furniture transfer suitable for a book would be cute at some point, or lettering would also be fun. I too love doing projects like this. I've mixed this style of painting with mod podged napkins....the selections of napkins now is mind blowing. Love this video

Very good hot tips..."keeping it simple stupid"..as in explaining simple stuff to (what were) "stupid" (lack of knowledge) people like me..(when it comes to furniture) I am a modeller (Military vehicles and figures) and many years ago I (read..before the internet!) about dry brushing..and all that jazz..and hey..without ALL the other stuff people do today..just doing that makes your (model etc) just pop! Loved your way of the taping for checkering... It's ALWAYS the simple stuff (once again..using "simple") like looking at a chess board for example...(but how...? was it painted etc?) That IS the question... The tables look fabulous..and you were 100% ON for not going further... Also subbed for more of your knowledge that you will impart... You did an amazing job. Beautiful. I used to paint furniture and stencil. You could have bought a stencil and saved time with the tape. It turned out very well. Impressed. Less paint on your brushes are best, or use sponges and dab them a few times off on a paper towel.

That’s a great question! I feel absolutely terrible for them, I have never met them but they seem really sweet and my heart breaks for them. I watched a video on Victoria’s channel where she shared that transaction . According to Victoria they hired a gentleman that turned out couldn’t be trusted. Sadly they were taken advantage of by business people. They were creators that lacked the full understanding of the financial side and trusted people they shouldn’t. As I say this it can happen to anyone of us in the same situation. It’s my understanding that The brand has since been sold a few times… I don’t blame the brand now as they weren’t part of the takeover. It’s like us buying a home from a bank that had been repossessed…., we are not to blame for the loss.. In Victoria’s video she did say that they have moved on and are very happy… I’m happy for them but I wish they at least got something from the brand now. I hope I’ve answered your question ❤️

If you get the tape wet with a little water it will seal the tape no bleed press firmly and let it dry before paint . Amazing stuff

I feel absolutely terrible for them, I have never met them but they seem really sweet and my heart breaks for them.
I watched a video on Victoria’s channel where she shared that transaction . According to Victoria they hired a gentleman that turned out couldn’t be trusted. Sadly they were taken advantage of by business people. They were creators that lacked the full understanding of the financial side and trusted people they shouldn’t. As I say this it can happen to anyone of us in the same situation.
It’s my understanding that The brand has since been sold a few times… I don’t blame the brand now as they weren’t part of the takeover.
It’s like us buying a home from a bank that had been repossessed…., we are not to blame for the loss..
In Victoria’s video she did say that they have moved on and are very happy… I’m happy for them but I wish they at least got something from the brand now.
