I Was about to take my Crybaby apart and regrease the mechanism. I did do it a few years ago so I assumed that was what was creaking. Been bugging me for the past 3 days and I saw this and wouldn't ya know it - its the REAR hinge. A bit of WD40 and it sounds just fine as in silent! Thank you!
Sorry to hear that! It's worked for me when I've had this problem. Is the squeaking definitely coming from the back hinge? If it is - and the WD40 still hasn't worked, you can use a bit of lithium grease on the hinge. The best way to get it in would be remove the pin from the footrocker, lubricate the joints and reassemble. Let me know how you get on!

The compressed air cleaning out the dust was so satisfying 😂
Thank you brother! I fixed my RMC10 by help of this video.
Awesome! That's a lovely pedal! 😄
I didn't have the silicon paste, but I did have some silicon spray for my garage door, which apparently works great!
Nice!

Glad I could help! 😄
My issue wasn't the squeaking but hard it was to move the wah up and down i think i need to re grease it
That should help! I'd also double check that the pressure element isn't too tight against the rack, as that can also cause stiffness!
Thanks man my vox big bad wah had this priblem used wd40 on back hinged its fixed now👍
Glad I could help! 😊
This explenation worked fine for me ...thx alot 😊 !
That's great! Glad it helped 😊
Solved!
Nice! Glad I could help 😊
what about floppy wah pedals? I have vox joe sat bad dual wah and its floppy now.
That sounds like a screw or washer problem to me, try tightening the screw that runs through the rocker first, then tightening the tension clutch 😊
@@ConorRocksYT Thnaks for the answer dude. I did tighetening tension clutch but nothing change.
I did exactly that but way before watching this video and now my pedal (a cry baby) don’t stay in place.. it closes by itself when lifted up
Sorry to hear that! If it's closing by itself it's either the tension clutch that needs tightening or tightening the treadle! 😊
WD40 made it worse :(
