Jehovah's Witnesses To Mark or Not to Mark - That is the Readers Question
I take a truthful look into the latest August 2024 Watchtower Study and the so called new understanding relating to Marking Talks and marking individuals in the congregation. Is this new information about marking talks truly a new understanding or a careful ploy by the legal department to defuse future litigation against them?
Marking Talks were short public discourses that used to be carried out by an elder in the congregation, underhandedly publicly identifying the victim without relating their name to prevent litigation against them. Now they have passed on the repercussions of shunning from the legal department to adherents in the congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses to prevent any further financial loss. Worse still, they have deceived their followers by suggesting that this is a new understanding or new light passed from Jehovah to the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses. However, the scriptures say that we shouldn't judge others in any circumstances. This is disgusting behaviour by the Governing Body and Legal Department that this video looks into.
