Welcome to our video presentation on the plastic film / turf washing plant in Dalton, Georgia USA. This system is engineered to recycle plastic films, efficiently and effectively.
The entire washing line is managed via a central electric control panel and cabinet, ensuring seamless operation of all connected equipment.
The process begins with the screw conveyor, which efficiently transports the plastic films through the various stages of cleaning and drying.
Next, we have the Sink Float Separation Tank. Using water as a medium, this tank separates materials based on their buoyancy. plastic films float to the top, while heavier contaminants such as dirt, sand, glass, metals, and other plastics sink to the bottom.
The first step in the drying process is the Centrifugal Dryer. This machine uses centrifugal force to remove a significant portion of water from the plastic films before they proceed to the thermal dryers.
The clean plastic films are then vacuumed out of the Centrifugal Dryer and into the Hot Air Dryer system. Here, they travel through a series of stainless steel tubes, mixing with hot air to ensure thorough and efficient drying.
Finally, the completely dried plastic films are collected in a silo, ready for further processing or reuse.
