When should you rotate a disc pad time wise? (10, 15, 25 hours for example) I use it 4-5 hours 5 nights a week. I looked in my manual and all it says is a brief description of different colored pads and how to install them but nothing about how long before flipping or completely replacing them.
Hi i just got a new scrubber.,... great info! can i ask how do you change the direction of the brush? to extend the life of the brush and have effective cleaning? i'm using a viper fang18c. thanks!
Thank you so much... I am about to buy a machine and here I am doing my homework! What am I getting into with the cost of liquids and tools needed for the machine. So informative. Very clear explanation. Now I just need to find the model number and will call you for specific info on my new machine. With this quarentine, cleaning is just the best thing to do.... Thanks 👍😊 again
My medal spindal ends bearings are wearing out about every 2 months. I have discovered that the cylinder brushes I ordered which was 28" is actually 27" and when I called my distributor they said the 27" is compatible. The brushes were also falling off the drive spindal. The tech changed the drive spindal but I am still having an issue with the bearings wearing out within a few weeks. Does anyone have a suggestion as to why
Great vid, thanks for this. Where can a guy find these types of brushes locally? Like I’m in Portland, OR and these aren’t very common in my usual hardware stores..

What about a blue brush whats the blue brush for a friend of mine told me is great for Marble floors is that right i want a brush to where i can autoscrubb VCT and marble at the same time VCT with finish is there such of thing?
Hi Sebastian, while different manufacturers have different color brushes, we're not quite sure which blue brush you're referencing. But, for your floors we can recommend either a nylon brush (should be soft to the touch) or white pad (soft, non-aggressive). Or if you need something a step up and more aggressive, a poly brush or red pad. Here's a blog that might help www.thesweeper.com/choosing-the-right-scrubber-pad-or-brush Also feel free to contact us at 800-793-3790.
@@alexiasg.1107 I apologize for the confusion, the diagram was wrong and I just edited it. The Soft Nylon brush will work well for gentle cleaning on Terrazo and Marble as well as the White Pad.
i just cut all the bristles off of the carpet brush attachment that came with my used saturn edic and i want to make it into a pad driver. can i buy a Velcro face to stick on the face of this disc. i have a 17 inch
Hi Dmitrik, thanks for contacting us. If you could please email your company name and some pictures of your machine to lisa@thesweeper.com, we'd be more than happy to help you find what you're looking for.
Dmitrik, you will need to purchase a new attachment for your machine, as the Velcro would not be feasible. If you could reach out to lisa@thesweeper.com she has more information for your replacement parts!
Hi Aologue15, it truly all depends on the type of clutch you have installed on your machine. A pad driver which is meant to hold scrubbing pads would be required. We recommend using a 20 inch pad in order that the brush motor has the proper negative force on it. Feel free to reach out with any other questions.
Hello Aolague, Typically as we mentioned in our previous response, we do not recommend using a floor scrubber for cleaning carpet. You would be best suited to use a machine specifically made for cleaning carpet with bonnet pad on it. Floor scrubber motors move at a much lower speed and have much less down pressure than a machine that is made for cleaning carpet. You also may want to look into carpet extractors as a solution. Thank you and have a wonderful day
Hello George, thank you for reaching out. If using an auto scrubber on unsealed wood floors it is best to use either a brush or a pad that is non aggressive. Either a poly or soft nylon would work for a brush. If using pads, we recommend a white pad. If your auto scrubber has a water flow adjustment, it is also a good idea to turn it down in order that you do not flood your wood floor with lots of water. I hope this helps answer your question.
What would I use on a Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) floor?

Great video beautiful I like it
Hold on ✋ I've been using the black pad to scub bathroom tile and the red to strip wax, and the white to buffer
He is 100% correct that a non-slip surface will SHRED THE PAD!!! If you're not careful it wears out the pad AND the pad holder!!!
The grit brushes actually use a nylon bristle, not poly........big difference...
Joseph, yes that’s correct- the grit brushes do use a nylon bristle with silicon carbide. That is our mistake in the video.
