I was thinking of going to an iphone 6, (iphone user here) but when I watched the keynote I was replay unimpressed because there was nothing new other than the size and NFC. So I'm may upgrade to the S5 instead since there is still so many more features. However, I will have no idea how to use it, so thanks for the video! It makes it easier understanding the phone.

Great video! I got a question...at 11:08, I notice that you have considerably more options to choose from than I do. I just bought my Galaxy S5 and I'm on the AT&T network. I'm missing: mobile data, download booster, blocking mode, wifi hotspot. I'm super mad I don't have a toggle for mobile data. It makes me feel like AT&T purposely blocked this feature so that people would use more data and so they could charge customers more. Any suggestions how I could unlock those features? If not, I'm probably going to try and get out of my plan...I don't like feeling cheated, swindled, tricked....
One thing not mentioned in video, how do you change the appearance of pages, ie messages....since my S5 was 'Upgraded' all my settings have changed and one thing I cant find is an ;appearance' button.....I don't mean wallpapers....

Paula Anderton depends on the screen or app you're in. Sometimes apps don't have a menu option. It should work on all screens apps that the 3 dot icon is at.

Go into settings and under personalization is where it says easy mode. see if it's turned on. You'll know if it is easy mode or standard. its a huge difference.

I have this setting on (from the Settings menu). The side swipe does not work because of the raised edges of my otterbox case (from Costco). However, the "small" screen mode randomly toggles on while I type (say on Viber) AND with me not swiping in-then-out from the side. Unfortunately, I don't remember what I type on the keyboard that causes the small screen to show because the small screen suddenly pops-up. Do you know why? Thanks
aikon56 that is a good question and new to me. The Otterbox yes can make it harder, but with practice you can get use to it. Maybe when you text, do you use swype?
I have 19 toggle icons in my settings menu on my Galaxy S5 when I'm supposed to have at least 22 toggle icons which was the other feature that I'm missing on my Galaxy S5. What are the name's of the 3 toggles icons I need to fill up my toggle icons list in the settings menu.
Each carrier have different setting toggles on top. It all depends if the "mobile data" is shown or if they want their customers to go thru the settings icon for that. Also "download booster" isn't on all carriers. so some won't show due to not being supported by that carrier. good question

Do you have easy/starter mode on? that limits the device. also if you have HDR on it doesn't work for all shooting modes. also make sure you're using the main camera not front facing. see what you have selected and turned on.

Both phones are really good. But if you really want the Note 3 then i think you should just wait for the Note 4, just because all the features and functions that are on the S5 will probably be on the Note 4 like the finger print scanner, the water resistance and the heartbeat sensor. So i say just wait the Note 4 will probably be out in September thats only like 3 months away :)

Yes. I occasionally use swype. This "one-handed screen" version shows when I am typing keys individually.

That is because you have your phone on easy/starter mode. Switch it back to standard mode and you will have them all.

В диком виде в Европе груша распространена примерно до 60° с. ш. На северной границе ареала - редка.
К 2006 году, в результате успешной селекции морозоустойчивых сортов, груша эффективно выращивается на садовых участках, расположенных на Урале и в Западной Сибири до 55° с. ш.
Предполагают, что происхождение культурных сортов груш связано с гибридизацией ряда видов, в частности, Pyrus achras Gärtn., Pyrus persica Pers., Pyrus cordata Desv., Pyrus elaeagnifolia Pall.. Груши культивировались в древних Персии, Греции и Римской империи.
В настоящее время насчитываются тысячи сортов груш.
Ботаническое описание[править | править вики-текст]

Форма кроны свободно растущего дерева - пирамидальная или округлая, склонна к загущению. Годовой прирост составляет 30-40 см. При благоприятных условиях груша достигает крупных размеров - до 5-25 метров в высоту и 5 метров в диаметре кроны.
Листья, как правило, опадающие. Листорасположение спиральное в 5 рядов. Лист широкояйцевидной формы, 2,5-10 см длиной, коротозаострённый; цвет - тёмно-зелёный, блестящий, нижняя сторона листа голубовато-зелёная, осенью золотисто-оранжевая.
Время и форма цветения: апрель-май, цветки белые, 3 см в диаметре, 5-лепестковые, по 3-9 в зонтиковидных кистях. Пестиков в гинецее от 2 до 5. Завязи их срастаются между собою и с цветочным ложем, принимающим форму кружки; лепестки в почке расположены черепично.
Гнёзда плода выстланы плотной оболочкой (нутреплодником).
Почки у груши, как и у других деревьев семейства, двух типов: вегетативные и генеративные. Вегетативные почки мельче и острее, генеративные - крупнее и тупее. Внешние различия между двумя типами почек усиливаются от времени образования этих почек к выходу из них побегов.
Плод, как правило, - вытянутой формы с расширением в нижней части, есть сорта с шаровидными плодами.

Груша пришла к нам из доисторической эпохи. Родина ее точно не установлена. Культивированная груша происходит, по-видимому, из Древней Греции (за 1000 лет до н. э.).
Значение и применение[править | править вики-текст]
Разные сорта груш используются как декоративные или собственно плодовые деревья.
В Швейцарии из плодов груши получают продукт, называемый „Грушевый мёд“.
В 2005 году мировое производство груш составило 15 млн тонн (оценка министерства сельского хозяйства США). Крупнейшим производителем груш является Китай.

Твёрдая, тяжёлая и упругая древесина груши широко применяется для мелких поделок. Из-за своей низкой устойчивости к гниению она используется только для изделий, которыми пользуются внутри помещений. Удельная плотность этой древесины составляет примерно 740 кг/м³. Как и любая другая тяжёлая и плотная древесина при сушке груша склонна к растрескиванию и сильно коробится, так же как обладающая такой же плотностью древесина бука. В высушенном состоянии эта древесина очень формоустойчива. Эта устойчивость связана с наличием так называемых «каменных клеток», которые отличают грушу и как фрукт и как древесину. Эти клетки как бы вплетены в структуру древесины.
Удельная теплоёмкость сжигания древесины груши несколько ниже, чем аналогичный показатель буковой древесины, хотя эти породы очень схожи по плотности. Текстура древесины груши очень тонкая, равномерная, с едва различимыми годичными кольцами. Вокруг повреждений живого дерева древесина может менять окраску, принимая цвета от фиолетово-бурого до чёрно-коричневого. Обработка горячим паром, например при изготовлении шпона, меняет её цвет на красноватый и более тёмный. При старении эта древесина обретает очень красивый тёмно-коричневый янтарный цвет, который является её отличительным признаком. Поры различимы невооружённым глазом лишь на поперечном срезе.
Вопреки своей твёрдости груша подходит для вырезания, благодаря «каменным клеткам» её можно резать без раскалывания в разных направлениях. В Германии эту древесину издавна использовали при изготовления различных печатных досок для формовки особых видов печенья, называемых «шпрингерле» (нем. Springerle).
После обработки чёрной морилкой эту древесину используют также в качестве заменителя очень дорогого эбена.

Both phones are really good. But if you really want the Note 3 then i think you should just wait for the Note 4, just because all the features and functions that are on the S5 will probably be on the Note 4 like the finger print scanner, the water resistance and the heartbeat sensor.
So i say just wait the Note 4 will probably be out in September thats only like 3 months away :)
