After test driving Taycan Cross Turismo I can only remember one thing: the way it drives is simply mind blowing. The way it handles and feels on the road is second to none. I had my fair share in Audi, BMW, Merc but this thing is in a class of its own. I also can't explain why Turbo version feels so much quicker on the road than Tesla Model 3 Performance. Tesla has better specs but Taycan, for some reason, consistently feels quicker.
I am happy the community did not fail you by suggesting this car. 😅 Seems to become quite popular in Norway and needs less bound capital than the more ego-affirming 4S. 😋
Kris you are living in the land of beautiful mountains and fjords. I should be criminal to shoot the car in front of some rusty containers 😉 This is the perfect family cars for people who are not dead on the inside.
The complete inability to do any form of one pedal driving (in ANY mode) was the deal killer for me. Back that up with the hopeless satnav (for enroute charge management - think “the line” in a Model S) was the deal killer for me. Great car to drive but limited range and poor EV functionality made it just another miss. Great car, not great EV….
@@ruaraidhmcdonald-walker9524 Yh I seen most the other Taycan’s don’t have the black textured trim all over the car , they are normally painted , baffles me why Porsche would put that on any of the cars , a bit on the front and back bumper is fine but not on the sides
@@KrisRifa ah yes.. makes sense. At 700w+ those Porsche Bose systems seem like some of their highest powered car audio systems. And the only ones they share wattage for haha
Hi Kris, What abaout making a video Where you customize a taycan cross turismo on the webside, What equipment would you go buy and What will probably not buy after owning your car for a while?
Classy car for a classy youtuber, love it, wish i had a penny for the amount of times you said option though downside of this car tbh its all one big option.
Thanks Kris, I am looking for an Cross Turismo but my deal breaker is the autosteer capability. I want to use it from Montreal Canada to Miami USA 2700 km, and a good autosteer is a must. What is your impression ?
I don’t think Chis optioned Porsche InnoDrive which gives decent lane centering and Adaptive Cruise Control and map knowledge of safe speeds for corners. I have it on a Taycan 4S sedan and find it quite useful, not perfect steering but definitely cuts down on Cognitive load for road trips. I have done 24k miles/38k km. Maybe try to find one to test drive.

Nice review Kris. Thanks.
Hey Kris. Could you maybe share the exact specs of this car? Love the cross but would be eq happy with the sport turismo. Great video!!
Vad ska man med alla mätartavlor till om man inte kan se dom ! Att kalla den en stationsvagn är väl att ta i när det är en Hatcback ???
I'm sorry Kris. You should've bought the Taycan sport Turismo. It looks best!
The question now is? Is this the best EV and switching to another car is a downgrade? Or is there something even better out there?

I don’t like all the cheap black plastic trim on the outside , makes the car look so cheap
@@M.E63 Agree. The GTS version ditches all that.

Ahhh I miss my Taycan 4S😢
Great content, thank you 🙏 Chris, keep 🆙!
Thanks a lot dude 😊😊
What do you think of the bose sound system
It's actually quite decent! Not the most powerful or "impressive" sound system, but it plays very clean and clear :)

I am considering E-Tron GT and taycan CT 4s. Which one would you get given your experience with both cars?
Classy car for a classy youtuber, love it, wish i had a penny for the amount of times you said option though downside of this car tbh its all one big option.
Taycan CT is such a nice car! When will you be going through the full test suite with it?
i guess you need a gimbal stabilizer to shoot the video
Thanks Kris, I am looking for an Cross
