Notes: Comment here if I missed any, and I will make a follow up video. I tried my hardest to make sure this video was as complete as possible; but it was difficult to manage all the clips and order them so there could be 1 missing.
I'm actuality kind of upset that the mechanic of linking concepts together like this to solve puzzles was only used in this level. Could have been cool to see other characters reactions to linking concepts in other minds.
I bet they were worried about the potential ramifications of shifting some of the other minds this way. I felt the warnings Raz got from Sasha and Hollis justified why he didn't end up doing it beyond Hollis' mind.
I know what you mean, it would've been fun, but as UndodnU said, linking concepts in this game completely messes up the mind, and Raz got scolded hard for doing this to Hollis in the first place.
Tbf, she has that thought because she made that same mistake when she was younger. According to her mental vaults, she once rearranged the mental connections of an asshole that took the credit for her work, and learned how terrible an idea it was.
Those who don’t know, Psychonauts 2 is a game about a 10 year old boy name Raz, (Razputin) who you will play as, who is a Intern in the Psychonauts. He must prove he is worthy on the first day, but, eventually he takes matter into his own hands, by capturing loboto, forcing to tell him, Raz needs to know who told loboto to kidnap raz’s girlfriend’s dad. But they do eventually find him, and after that, NO MORE SPOILERS! 😄👍
My favorite of the entire game, especially when the Connections have Holis mentally/vocally comment and the surroundings react meaning the new "thought" is being broadcasted "globally", much like how the mind actually works
Random: I have been playing 2 VN games called A Nightmare’s trip and 428 Shibuya Street. Both are fascinating in their own uniqueness; would like to make videos on them too if I come up with any ideas.
I choose to interpret it this way: Making a connection brings a thought to the forefront of her mind and gives it more weight, but they're all there, otherwise she wouldn't have those concepts so close together in the first place. The further apart the concepts, the more buried the thought you get from connecting them.
1:19 The in-universe reason this happens is she's not recognizing any common information between these two topics, such as when someone says two random things that may confuse you because that info is not immediately available

I think you missed mushrooms with money?
Socks and Sandals with Victory
I wanted to do this myself, but Raz's constant reminders give me headaches. Thank you from the bottom of my OCD addled heart and brain
You forgot to mix desk with socks and sandals
In post game hollis mentions how many mental connections she has to unravel about cillatro just a neat little thing I thought you’d want to know
Ah, I actually uploaded that clip in my level revisits video. Forgot to add it again for this video.
Its hilarious how the devs knew people would screw around with the silantro idea

9:32 Wow Hollis really just called you out like that XD

@@PrincessFelicie Yeah I know that, I just thought it was funny.
I think it just reminded her of when she pulled that exact same stunt with Dr. Potts and drove him insane as a result
Hollis getting anxious over her husband possibly wearing socks and sandals is adorable
5:50, for anyone looking for that line in particular.
broke: making videos in premiere
woke: making videos in powerpoint
PowerPoint has its perks; it helps me make the credits and thumbnails.
I love the little End - - - - Credits thing you did at the end
Thank you!
This woman saw Sasha wear socks with sandals often enough for it to fucking traumatize her. Poor soul.

And here comes the bad idea chain reaction.

I wish all the characters had these things.

GOD'S WORK DUDE
Thank you!!!
YES! I was wondering if someone would upload this!

Hollis: everyone hates socks with sandals!
Ayaka, who wears socks with sandals and almost the whole Genshin fandom loves her: *hello there*
1:04-1:49-2:36-3:12-4:54-5:18-5:31-5:43 for the people that somehow are into Socks with Sandals thing (eww)
at 0:32 did raz accidentally make her suicidal?
edit 1:26 seems to imply that too
Everytime Raz connected another thought with death it made me wince a little...

30 years and Double Fine's puzzles are still bullshit.
Association with thinking correlated with hatred, thanks.
I am-------nothing. I am nothing.
I have been looking for this cideo everywhere. Thank you.
Cideo....
Thank you for the compilation!
OH NO NOT A BATH IN HAND SANITIZER
0:50 I would have loved it if that combination of all things lead to fight against the bad idea enemies.

Seems like there would be commonality between death and germs, especially to a doctor.
No common information between Germs and death?
Wait Hollis is married?!
Evidently.
Sorry, she’s taken, better luck next time.
nice...
Wait!!!! Hollis is married!?
6:39 lady luctopus
But you can just call her lucky.
aw yiss 😆👍🏻
