There needs to be a game that acknowledges the Templin Institute being a thing
Yes
A mysterious organisation whose leadership never reveal themselves. They have access to powerful interdimensional travel technology, that they apparently use merely to catalogue the events and organisations in different worlds they have explored. The source of their technology, their funding, and their ability to slip in and out of worlds without notice remains a complete mystery.
Rumour would have that there exists another purpose for their actions, and that all this information is being gathered for a great purpose that will have vast and wide reaching consequences for the multiverse.

Vault-Tec Calling
Nuclear War: *exists*
Vault-Tec: It's free real estate!
Basically, Vault-Tec is one of the most evil companies in fiction. However, because it’s native to a universe where the 1950’s aesthetic survived well into the 21st century, it is very difficult for an outside observer to get a full grasp of that. Everything surrounding Vault-Tec is so cartoonishly happy-go-lucky with a Mickey Mouse-like mascot that believing it is so evil is very difficult. You kind of refuse to believe that. Well, that’s at least my and my friends’ observations
Thankfully one overseer didn't like the idea of pumping her vault dwellers full of diseases to test medicines, so she sabotaged the experiment and they ended up quite successful in the end. :)
And now we know the company did survive in vault 31
I HAVE WAITED FOR THIS FOR SO LONG-
Vault-Tec: the case book example of stupid evil.

@@louisduarte8763 Nah, Umbrella isn't nearly as stupid evil as their evilness has a purpose to it: they are a weapons company wanting to make more and better weapons. Vault-Tec really doesn't have this excuse.

VAULT TEC is the true villain in the Fallout timeline.
Great video, but I'm so disappointed Vault 77 (the vault filled with a single man, and a crate of puppets) wasn't mentioned!
Thank you for watching,citizen!
And remember:HERE AT VAULT-TEC, YOUR SAFETY IS OUR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY!
Also vault tec: let’s make humans experiments
Did nobody at the enclave or vault realize that if they use most up there remaining people as test subjects, it would take at least a millennium to partly repopulate the country and during that time America could be easily conquered by an expeditionary force from a country that wasn't nuked
The American Oligarchs(Enclave) and Vault-tec did not just Nuke China into a country size glowing sea, they also nuked every country and every continent to make sure they remain as the sole super power when all is done.
I don't think Vault - Tec actually thought there was going to be nuclear war, after all it would be madness. They used the paranoia to get people to sign up for the vaults so they can experiment on various conditions that might arise during deep space flight and colonization, such as radiation leaks, overpopulation, food shortages, factionalism, disease outbreak, etc. hence the abundance of inhuman experimentation conducted in the vaults. The Enclave actually wanted the vaults to serve their purpose without experimentation, I'd imagine, since they'd want a bunch of "pure" humans to recolonize the former US after they exterminated the wastelanders.
@@TheMonkeystick Except that as far as the Enclave was concerned, Vault-Dwellers were just as sub-human as wastelanders and equally to be exterminated. Only the Enclave was "pure".
@@Tonius126 this is false since we know China basically took the brunt of all of our nukes soooo
The plan was to leave the planet not repopulate it, but when they saw how shit everything went they opted to just wipe out the mutants on the mainland, retake the US and then eventually destroy all forms of Communism left in the world. They also actually had the highest population of people on the Oil rig alone having about 100,000 people during Fo2 not to mention other secret vaults and bases like Whitesping and Ravenrock
I wish we eventually get a Vault-Tec Faction in a future game

I'd really like to discover that vault tech created a handful of vaults in other countries just to see how other countries fared compared to the United States. Plus it would open the way for Fallout: England , Fallout: Spain etc.
Britain wouldn't have any nuke defense systems
"We hope you enjoy your return to the surface, and thank you for choosing Vault-Tec"
Vault Tec reminds me of so many companies and corporations around today. To the public they show family values and a smile, behind their back they have a dagger in hand and are ready to throw any morals or ethics out the window if it affects their bottom line. Capitalism is the best we have got but sometimes it can be borderline evil.
I know this came out a bit ago
But I get so giddy seeing you guys do more fallout
Yes! Yes! More of this content. Fallout lore is the best.
You really made Valut-Tec sound surprisingly benign. Read up on their lore, they were some twisted MF's.
looks like we got 6 years before vault tec begins
Got to admit, this feels like a documentary
Isn’t it kinda eerie how close fallouts history is to our current events?
Yeah, remember that time the world engaged in thermonuclear war? Who daddy that was a doozy, amiright?
Just in time for New Vegas' 10th anniversary! :)
I would image that using a singular scenario in every Vault increases the chances of failure across all vaults, so in a way Vault-Tec were pretty smart by mixing it up a little so that at least one would survive to the end of the 100 years. Maybe without a little chaos people will get bored and create chaos? I liked Vault 111 the most, why even bother with food, air, water, etc. when you can just sleep away the 100 years? DARPA are working on this technology now for the Interstellar Ark project, with a side benefit of being able to cryosleep humans in case of an actual nuclear war.
Vault Tec Calling!
All obey the overseer!
Can we get a video on the COG and UIR? Also, I'd really like to see a fan made or official map of Sera. Where are all the countries, cities, etc.
You know I’m just getting in to fallout not to long ago. So thanks for this vid guys.
I think this video is due for an update!
I would prefer if Vault-Tec survived in some way. It was all meant to help increase the success chance of a doomsday escape into space, right? Granted not all vaults would've been able to transmit their results, but surely some were still capable of it. They could have taken that information and left.
I like to believe that vault tech still exists
Gary. Gary. Gary. Gary.
I distrust Vault Tech. Their life support system for Vault 111 was faulty. The Institute was able to get in the computers easily. Now I’m the only one left alive.
I feel like getting your Systems Hacked by one of the Most Advanced post war Factions isn't exactly that much of a Losing point.
I thought at least some of the vaults were actively transmitting data on the progress of their experiments.

“It was just a social experiment”
Always high quality videos, I love them so much! Proud to be a subscriber!
There was also my favorite vault. One man and a crate of puppets
The only thing I always thought was really dumb was that vault tec themselves were destroyed. You are a company who's primary business is designing things to survive a nuclear armageddon, and yet not one of the executives thinks "we should build a vault under our own headquarters, as a monitoring vault and also for all the executives to survive in". Supposedly vault tec is this corrupt and self-serving corporation, yet not one of the executives decide "I want to survive too!" Honestly one of the weirdest sort of selfless decisions in that universe, and totally out of character for vault tec.
The executives and Shareholders are most likely Split up amongst the Control Vaults.
Most likely some executives and higher ups DID survive, and we can see their descendants as part of the shadow government faction of the Enclave
The leaders probably went and joined the enclave as soon as they could probably.
I wish something like these guys were around in reality.
Y'know, just in case
But without the evil. You know building Vaults whose sole goal is to preserve people

There's actually some evidence for Vault Tec having very much survived.
I still want to see a Fallout game that takes place either outside the US, or in a part of the wasteland that we have yet seen. Personally I would love to see a game that takes place in Michigan, think about it. In the Fallout universe Michigan is still the manufacturing hub of the world, meaning things like tanks and power armor would be EXTREMELY plentiful, and the only creatures that would be able to survive would be the extremely powerful, like the deathclaws, Yao Guay, and mirelurk queens (and I imagine that mirelurks in general would pose the biggest threat due to the Great Lakes).
and thats why,we love vault tec👍🏻
