Hello Jason, I can't believe it's been three years since you tuned me up. The Chaser keeps on shooting straight and hard. All the best to you and yours. Bill
Bill! It sure doesn't seem like three years. It's been to long my friend. I will call you first part of the week. Looking forward to catching up with you!
I think you have fergotten the 22mm OD x 1mm CS Rubber O-Ring that's comes on the upper part over the last cone, becourse my got one inside that's takes up the rest of the space for anti rattling and probably not loosen up the screws over time 🤔
Just bought an Artemis pp800r. Curiosity made me uncrew the “silencer”. Glad i find this video 🙏 I can see the components are more “cheap” and thin on mine. 🙄 But again - thx alot for the video!!
That is the same arrangement in my Chaser moderator, interestingly I have seen videos of the Bandit moderator which looks identical and the longer spacer was on the tip furthest away from the barrel end. My moderator was literally glued onto the long barrel with red Loctite. I used a bench vise with soft rubber jaws to hold the barrel then wrapped the moderator with Gorilla tape to protect it and used a strap wrench and broke it free. Now I can swap it to the pistol barrel. I wish Diana sold them separately as they have to be the most effective moderator I have used.
That is interesting about the order. It probably doesn't even matter! Lol Yeah the moderators are a pain to get off. The Artemis CP-1 version comes right off and it comes with magazines. It is nice to be able to switch back & forth fer sure 👍 Thanks for watching. I do appreciate it!
FYI I just removed my moderator from my Diana Chaser Rifle barrel. I placed the barrel in a vise wrapped with some cloth. Snuggled it in making sure it was tight. I proceeded to heat it up with regular heat gun on high. Moving it back and forth about two inches away from the barrel do not stay in one position too long it will melt. Take a small hammer and a flat tipped screw driver, tap it a few times to if it is loose also you can remove that bladed front sight at the same time. Remove the front sight then you can get to the moderator. Heat the moderator in a back and forth motion wrap some cloth around it use some adjustable pliers and twist it once it is loose simply unscrew it. It does have adhesives it to keep it in place it can be removed take your time and don't heat the barrel too much remember you are using a heat gun. That's just dime good 👍 luck and happy air gunning. We out
OMG, THANK YOU BUT I DID FIND AN EASIER WAY AFTER TRAIL AND ERROR. DID NOT HAVE A BIGGER DOWL THAT WILL FIT THE HOLES. WOODEN SQUER AND STACKED THEM UP A LITTLE THEN PUT THE SQUER DOWN THE MIDDLE AND DROPPED THE REST DOWN AND TOOK THE BARREL SLIDE IT DOWN GIVING IT A LITTLE SHACK UNTIL THEY LINED UP AND SLID IT DOWN. NICE AND EASY. WORKED GREAT.
Hi mate, I had serious problems using the wrong slugs in my cr600w. The problem started when I used the magazine. I ended up with blow back at the block, sounded like a machine gun on full auto lol. When I took the silencer apart I pulled out 5 slugs, a few were totally shredded although surprisingly a couple were almost intact. On closer inspection of the baffles I noticed that the holes were damaged or deformed and wondered if I can buy replacement baffles? The silencers themselves are as the shop said, unavailable to buy as a replacement part so the whole thing has to go back to their supplier. If I can replace these baffles, this whole shipping and waiting for a decision as to what's happening next can be avoided. Kind regards Gaz 🇬🇧
I just got my Chaser 2 hours ago, I happened to look down the barrel (off of pistol). notice one of my baffles was crooked. I took it apart and all hell broke loose. Yours is the first video I came to ...... Made my day !!!! Glad I didn't shoot it first !!!!
How did separate the conical part from the moderator? I want to drill holes in it and add a sleeve to the OD that extends rearward to increase chamber volume. After modifying the gas chamber for more power it's pretty loud even with the moderator.
Nice,... I didn't even think of making a vid when I had mine apart. I did play around with the direction & order of the baffles with interesting results,... Still didn't have a chronograph (Santa, I have been a very good boy) but I think pellets were a little faster in reverse but some of them were accurate & some were flying all over the place.
I hadn't thought of it either but I had been asked about it a few times so I thought I would put one up. Never thought of changing the order. 🤔 Might do that some time and see what it does. I hope Santa 🎅 brings you a chrony! Lol Merry Christmas David

I would use 2 black zip ties of a size that will go between the lugs. Then on the light being mounted, file away enough area to clear the zip ties. West System Epoxy will work too. Get the 404 thickener. Clean both areas using rubbingalcohol and a clean paper towel, not any rag, sand lightly w new, clean 60 grit. Clean again after sanding. Make a dry run first. Have something else ready to glue too, using any extra glue. Mix the epoxy, add enough thickener, to catsup viscosity, or thicker. Apply the glue. Zip tie to clamp the parts in place, wipe away the extra. Check the alignment a few times. Let cure 5 hours. Seems expensive until you're on the 10th repair.

I had to touch up the part where it screws on to the barrel with paint. They use red loctite at the factory so they are really stuck on.
