    Lori, This is a very pretty tulip wreath. I made one for about $30- from the Dollar store. I don't know why anyone would give a thumbs down. You could use any flower you want and make it seasonal/your own. Thanks.

      Jose, Thank you so much. I wouldn't have the slightest idea, I try so hard to share and show my creations, but everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I'll keep making what makes me so happy and that is my viewers and my crafts. Don't forget to keep your notifications on. Share and like.Yes, you could use any flowers or even a mixture of flowers. Share, yours on my Facebook page, if you would like. I would love to see it. Thank you, for all your support.

      Hello, there Rob. They had the tulips at Micahel's on sale for 2.00 only I know they sold out online try calling the store and see if they have some if you have one nearby. Yes, you will be able to make it for her and she would love it! Don't be negative and see if you can get to a local store I just checked their website and they have some in Hot Pink and Coral. Get at least 21 of them and then get the styrofoam now remember the bigger the base the more it takes. I hope you make one and if you do feel free to send me a picture lori@hardworkingmom.com I wish you the best good luck!! Don't forget to like and share. Thank you, Lori.

    I love your wreaths. You do a fantastic job. And, I've learned much from you. However, I go that extra step to keep them from coming out so easily. It's a good idea to glue the pins in and/or at least 2 pins for each bundle. The wind can't blow them apart so easily. I make my own wreaths, and, I've learned. I suppose we all do things a bit differently. It's also a good idea to glue the flowers before injecting them onto the frame. I live by a graveyard. I see many beautiful flowers come apart when we have really bad storms. Also, I make sure the petal is also glued to the stem. If this is for a grave, that is. If this is for inside, you don't have to take the extra measures.

    • @craftingwithhwm
      @craftingwithhwm  5 лет назад

      Yes the other thing you can do is wrap the ribbon around the stems and then add the glue with the pins. This one was for an indoor room. Thank you

    I recently found you, i could give a hundred reasons why i love your tutorials...in a word "awesome" ! How are you taking 8 tulips and keeping them on with 1 pin? ...i must be missing something. Thank you ❤

    • @craftingwithhwm
      @craftingwithhwm  5 лет назад +1

      Hello Denise! Thank you so much for your kind words and they mean a lot to me. With the tulips, I just take each of the 8 stems from the tulips and bunch it together so that way 1 pin is able to hold all of them together. I hope that helps and let me know if you have any other questions. Lori.

    • @craftingwithhwm
      @craftingwithhwm  5 лет назад +1

      Oh you are so sweet and thank you. And you have nothing to be embarrassed about cause not everyone knows about floral pins but now I understand what you meant. It would be kind of impossible to hold it down with a regular pin lol. Thank you again and I hope you have a great weekend. Lori.

      Hello Ann! You are very welcome and I’m happy you enjoyed the tutorial. This video is a couple years old and was my old craft room but I do have a new one now and here is a video of a tour. ruclips.net/video/hCdSFccBzCQ/видео.html. In the video I still had the shoe racks holding my ribbon but now I have wire shelving used for closets. It holds more ribbon and I will do another video showing it more closely. Thank you so much, Lori.

    • @craftingwithhwm
      @craftingwithhwm  7 лет назад

      Hello, there Sue and thank you. I didn't use hot glue because its a styrofoam ring, if I use glue it would just go thru the foam so that's why I used the floral pins. Thank you, I'm happy you like it.

    • @craftingwithhwm
      @craftingwithhwm  4 года назад

      Hello Debbie! They are called floral pins and in the shape of a “U” and you can find them at any craft store like Michaels and Hobby Lobby. I hope that helps. Thank you for watching, Lori.

    Hi Lorie, I started making a wreath like your tulip wreath. But I could NOT get the floral pins to stay down in the styrofoam. Do you have any suggestions? I was actually trying to use Easter Lilies and not tulips. Thanks, Louise LeBlanc

    • @craftingwithhwm
      @craftingwithhwm  6 лет назад

      Hello and welcome, there Louise. You could try to use a dab of glue and see if they stay also try to place them slanted not straight down. I hope it helps it I also use the other type of the styrofoam ring the one that is heavy not the regular one that breaks easy. This is almost like the one that comes in boxes but thicker. That could be also why they are coming out. The foam does matters due that they are many types. I hope it has helped but try some glue to pined them in or right on the top add some try it in a few of them and see what happens hot glue could and does melts it I would recommend try a few drops. Don't forget to like and share. Thank you, Lori.
