Believe me Egypt is one of the safest places unless you are walking in an abounded places, It's safer even more than England, 90 percent of the time nothing will happen
It was the mosque of Amr, south of the mosque in the video, that was built at the date you specify and is thus the oldest mosque. The mosque of Ibn Tulun was begun over two centuries later.
Hi! Thank you, I used a combination of SONY a7s iii, Sony ZV1 for the selfie shots(has flip out screen) and Iphone 14 Pro for the moving shots (has good stabilization)
I have a question 🎉 safe to travel alone especially women? I have never been there only Tunisia, Morocco but Egypt is might be new, experience for me 🎉 # Your VDO so useful and awesome
Hey! Thank you for watching, glad you liked it! I also posted 2 from Luxor xx I have visited Morocco too and Egypt has similar vibes so if you enjoyed travelling alone there you should be fine in Egypt. The people are friendly you’ll just have the usual people trying to sell you something at the tourist sites and in the markets etc plus negotiating for taxis.
due to the Islamic religion which insist on welcoming the guest, you will find people strict to it like the same in Tunisia and Morrocco so no one will harm you, addition to that the Egyptian culture which is very awesome and welcoming, but as the rest of the world you will find some abounded places which might be dangerous at late time after 2 Am,
Hey! People are friendly in general but I would not travel solo and use the public taxies there, maybe have arranged private car from the hotel! Also I would rather travel with another person or a group 😁
Yes very safe but just do not travel alone . You will need to enjoy and also safer for any country not to travel alone. For example turkey is very bad . Travel with someone can negotiate prices as well
Believe me Egypt is one of the safest places unless you are walking in an abounded places, It's safer even more than England, 90 percent of the time nothing will happen, But traveling alone is kind of boring, you need company maybe you can find someone to travel with you, or someone from the locals
Hi! I stayed at steigenberger pyramids in giza £410 for 2 nights with full board, it was around 10 minutes by car to the pyramids 😁 I would recommend Marriott too it’s just outside the pyramids entrance so you won’t have to travel by car 😇
Hi! I didn’t use a private tour, just went to the tourist sites on my own, but you can usually find tours in the hotels at reception or guiding tour when you get to the temple/museum etc hope this helps
@@andrijanaukm thanks, I will recommend some places like Step Pyramid of Zoser at Saqqara and the new Egyptian museum the biggest museum in the world And Saladin Citadel you will see many things like Mohamed Ali musque and other things, there are many things to visit in Egypt 😃✨
Those are the rear sides of the buildings. This is the slums' style in building to not have any windows within those sides as they build so close to each other that it might happen, and usually happens, to have no gaps between those buildings. In addition for the neighbourhood of your hotel, this is an outskirt of Giza governorate, not even Cairo, so it is so normal to not have passersby as it is not an attractive place for a walk. You can check, and definitely you had seen, many foreigners walking freely and alone through the local areas and districts in Cairo, Giza, Alex, and several other cities with no issue. For the mosque, kindly be informed that Ibn Tulun mosque isn't the oldest mosque in Egypt and Africa. Officially, Amr Ibn El-As mosque is the oldest one as it was built 200 years before Ibn Tulun's. But, in truth there's a mosque in Al Sharqia governorate that was built 2-5 years before Ibn El-As's by the same army in their way to the capital of Egypt at that time.
I would not say harassed but everyone is fighting for your attention and wants to sell you something and maybe force the product in your hands, best advice i can give is to politely say no and keep moving
