I think Ralf Scheepers is a guy mainly influenced by Judas Priest, It doesn't mean that he wants to play the same way that they do, or sing the way Ripper or Halford sing!!! I believe Primal Fear has such a great sound, a very original one!!! This kind of metal is very refreshing for metal fans, as me, that sometimes get bored by the sound of those melodic metal bands as Stratovarius (They are not a bad band, it's only I get tired sometimes of that brilliant sound!)

I only recently started listening to Primal Fear, and I've got to say I'm impressed with how much Ralf Scheepers voice has improved since the Gamma Ray days. Definitely some of the best singing I've heard in years.
Actually, Ralf was considered when Judas Priest were looking for a replacement. In the end, they chose someone else. That other guy didn't stick; meanwhile, Ralf joined Primal Fear and this the result :)

When things were hectic with Judas Priest the singer from this band was going to be the one who replaced him or like one of the top three I forget, but they reunited in the end anyways.

Well I was born and raised usa and have a family here I cant just up and move. But I can listen to music from Europe :)

@Thomas99Anderson no didn't know that, but it only makes sense as both Ripper and Scheepers have some of the most powerful voices
When things were hectic with Judas Priest the singer from this band was going to be the one who replaced him or like one of the top three I forget, but they reunited in the end anyways.
