    Dean awesome work sir as always. I mean for us its 17 mins of learning but I know how much efforts you and team are taking to create this free content. Hats off to you sir and the team for creating such creative learning material! Please keep it up!

      Thanks Ketan! The only correction to your statement…there isn’t a team…it’s just me making videos for The Azure Academy. Unfortunately Microsoft doesn’t help or contribute to my videos either. Although I did 3 videos where I had my teammates presenting
      I am working on growing The Azure Academy list of contributors…but none yet

    I have a suggestion for a next video.
    Is it possible to create a guide how to easily monitor traffic in combination with the azure firewall? (I am looking into this but it would be great if you have the option to just fill in source or destination ips or port & get a table with all the events allow or deny from the past based on specific second/minute/hour/date.

    • @AzureAcademy
      @AzureAcademy  2 года назад +2

      Do you want a report of the traffic flow…this can be found in the firewall logs…did you check if any of the Billy in queries give you the data you are looking for?

    • @bloodmasto123
      @bloodmasto123 2 года назад +1

      @@AzureAcademy currently I was looking into the Network watcher to solve my reporting :) what you are saying is diagnostic logs written from azure firewall to a log analytics workspace and create queries from there?

    • @AzureAcademy
      @AzureAcademy  2 года назад +2

      that is correct...Enable Diagnostics to Log Analytics then go to the LOGS section in the firewall blade
      Log Analytics will open and there are built in queries that should have the data you want

    Thanks Dean, So I wanted to deploy it with AVD, but I believe you need to enable DNS proxy for FQDN rules? This feature is unfortunately not available in the basic version :(

    • @AzureAcademy
      @AzureAcademy  2 года назад +2

      You do not require the DNS Proxy to make FQDN rules work. I showed the google vs bing rules…those were using FQDN

    very informative, if we have work loads in other vnet in azure do we need to do vnet peering ?

    • @AzureAcademy
      @AzureAcademy  2 года назад +1

      Yes. All VNETs are 100% isolated so if you want them to communicate you need peering

    I do not see options for your prep commands for deploying prem firewall

    • @AzureAcademy
      @AzureAcademy  Год назад +1

      Prep commands? Do you mean how to upgrade the firewall to premium?

    All the animations that you use, don't allow me to be concentrated on the crucial part, I had to repeat some parts of the video, nevertheless thanks for the effort.

      Thanks for the feedback Edwin! Can you tell me a time in the video that had good animation and a time with bad, so I can do more good ☺️
      Also, compare this video with me latest networking video on Azure VWAN and tell me if that’s better, thanks!
