i just discovered that album, its one of my favorite right now, and then i learned that this band has only 3 album for like 7 vocalist and 125 past member. I guess Rip seeing them live
@@earlyandoften yessir. Nice pfp btw brotha, you hyped for another World Peace? You think sam nick and charls will be able to capture the magic the first season had again?
@@memoryhold I legitimately think it’s gonna be great. Don’t know how heavy you’ve been following, but I watched the highlights from the wrap party stream and the vibe amongst the boys just seems correct. There’s also like a 6 minute behind the scenes reel out already and just artistically, we are absolutely getting a proper WP2. It was a legitimate production in every sense.
They definitely got away quite easy compared to a lot of the bands of similar size and influence in the scene around that time. Made me think they were bigger than they were when I was younger lol
@@jimmytwotimes1940 your logic is "complex = good music". by that logic you should absolutely be a fan of such artists like Frank Zappa and King Crimson, because their music is complex. so im sure youre a huge fan right? heres the cold water, complex =/= good music.
Maybe the Mayans were right? Things really did change, for the worst, after 2011. The 2000's was really the last decade of good music. *Almost* everything from the 20teens onward has been lackluster to put it nicely. This takes me back. This album got me through several years of high school.
Why hate on Deathcore? Some of us love breakdowns and blasting. There's a million melodic death bands to listen to; why try to change one that isn't? Peace, brother.
yea im a lot more into death metal than deathcore, and the riffs in this album are so fucking good, they have the potential of becoming killer melo death bands, but alas, they prefer core and no one can change that, the core scene lucked out with these guys. The way they make killer riffs blend in with the breakdowns make actually enjoy those breakdowns, which is a rare occurance.
A certified hood classic

Yea, it was a highschool banger for sure

True.
This is a banger but not one of the greatest of all time.
Frankly, not even the best on this album. In dying days is sick.

I feel this band could be a legitimately good melodic death metal band if they focused on the riffs more and ditched the shitty breakdowns.
